Good morning everyone!!! Are you ready to get started this morning? Don't know about you guys, but my kids trashed my nice clean house this weekend, so now I have to clean all over again. However, they are home today, so they will be responsible for their rooms - including making their own beds. YIPPEE!!! This is what I'll be doing though.... 1. Make my bed. 2. Laundry - wash, dry, fold, put away. 3. Dishes - at least the ones I don't have the kids wash for me! 4. Sweep kitchen. Today is the day the Living Room gets it's concentrated cleaning. In there I will: 1. Clean fireplace. 2. Vac 3. Dust 4. Water plants 5. Declutter 6. Clean tv and computer monitor 7. Clean windows (just the inside) 8. Spot clean furniture 9. Spot clean carpet 10. Straighten entry way closet 11. Sweep front porch Hope I manage to get thru this list today!! Wish me luck! With 4 boys underfoot all day I don't know how much I'll actually accomplish. But, there's always next week, right? Happy cleaning!! Susan

Hey...."upkeep" IS "cleaning". It's what you've gotta do to keep it clean, right? So, it's cleaning!!! Besides, I love it when it gets to the point that it's upkeep. SOOOOO much easier. Right now, I'm CLEANING.... after being away from home for 3 years working, my house needs some serious attention. Soon though, I'll just be doing upkeep. Can't wait!!! BTW, sounds like you are going to be crazy busy today!!! Don't work too hard!! Susan

Ya but its not like "on your hands and knees" type cleaning lol. Wander thru with the vac and swiffer and 90% of the job is done LOLOLOL I remember serious cleaning days. EWW never want to go back there. Most of the cleaning I do now is for myself.. Dale is always telling me that I am cleaning the clean LMAOOOO *huggles* Felicia =0)

Here's my weekday madness schedule: Started out with chiping 1/4" of ice that encased my car this morning just so I could get on the road.... 1. work (9-5) ...catching up on requests that came in during the weekend (I provide support for people that work from home and are consultants..therefore they are always working, no matter what the day or the weather...they were BUSY this weekend - which means lots of work for me today). 2. at lunch I need to run to the bank and to the music store to pick up materials for my students. 3. post work, 1 lesson, it's my light night, the student is less than 10min. from my office so I'm teaching by 5:30 and done by 6. 4. post lesson - I have had it, I'm playing hookie from the gym tonight (shhhhh), snow and ice and cold, plus TOTM makes for grumpy, tired, Patti. I plan to head home and cook a real dinner for the first weeknight in a long time, then relax in front of the tv for a few hours instead of just heading straight to bed.

Thank goodness for a light night teaching. Enjoy having dinner at home with The Boy tonight. You deserve a night off every now and then. Susan

I am the clean the clean type of person too. Things are pretty caught up here and it is just maintenance mostly. The girls helped clean up so much after the party there really isn't much to do today. Kristen, my daughter, did call me this morning and said she talked with her boss and there is a job opening there. I called her boss and have an interview for next Thursday. Crud, I am so nervous to take this step. It has been 10 years since I last worked and of course in that period of time my confidence has gone down the tube. There is the issue of transportation that will need to be addressed and I don't know if I really want full time work, but those are all things that can be negotited I think with the boss. It is doing data entry work for a healt care facility. A casual atmosphere, a sitting computer job and not far from home. Kris even said she would be able to pick me up in the mornings. So we will see. Joe is going to be in shock when he comes home and finds this out. He has told me I needed to go and get a job but I honestly don't think he was serious about it. Also, this is something that I need to do for ME, and that is all part of the journey I am on, doing something for me instead of always taking the back seat in life. Don't work too hard everyone........Gay

No fear of me working too hard over here Gay. I ate a bite too much at lunch, so I'm taking a break in front of the computer till I feel better. GOOD LUCK with the job interview!!! How cool to get to ride to work with your daughter. Wish I could find something part time...just for the $$$...but then again.... lol Susan
