New picture on my profile and fun shopping...
I posted a new picture on my profile page. It is of my sister and I last week at the George Strait concert. I was always the "fat sister". When we were in High School, my older sister (the one in the picture) was a size 5 and my younger sister was a size 7. Since having kids, my older sister has gained weight. Part due to having a tubal, part because of meds she has to take for her Rheumatoid Arthritis and part because of our wonderful genes, I'm sure. But up until the past month or so, I was still the "fat sister". Well, looking at this pictures....I'M NOT ANYMORE!!!! I try so hard not to rub her face in it. I want to hand down my clothes to her, but am afraid to ask her her size. I asked her the other day, finally, just said "What size are you wearing now?" She said she was a size 16/18 depending. That was all she said. I am in a 16 now. I look at her and can see a big difference, but when I talk about getting rid of clothes that I have shrunk out of, she never says "I'll take whatever fits me...I wear this..." I would definately be saying something if I were her...she likes the clothes I wear. Oh, well, I guess Goodwill will be getting them, unless I can sell some on ebay. Who knows. My younger sister is has been the smallest for years now. She told me she weighs 175. My goal is to weigh less than her, even for just a day. She is a lot of muscle, so I can't really compare. I love my sisters, and am not competitive with them at all, but this is just my inside feelings. I would never tell them this.
Speaking of clothes. The other day the kids wanted to go to the Mall to eat after preschool. I parked behind Macy's and entered through the Women's department. On the way back to the car I checked out the sales racks. I ended up getting 5 shirts in XL and I picked up a cute little black ****tail dress in a size 14. It doesn't zip yet, but IT WILL!!! It was marked down to $8.50, so I couldn't pass it up. Too cute!!! The kids were acting up by the time I was done shopping and standing in line, but I atleast didn't leave the store empty handed. Hee Hee.
That was my fun weekend!!!
Hope everyone else had a good one.

Tabby
What a great weekend Tabby!!!!!! Did you blow my man George a kiss for me?? I love that man........I tell hubby all the time to beware as George has a ranch near San Antonio. LOL
Haven't looked at the pic yet on your profile....but will in a bit. I'm sure it's gonna be FANTASTIC though. You are such a pretty lady.
Love the shopping. $8.50 for a dress? Girl, you rock!!! I love finding deals like that!
Susan
Thanks, Susan. Yep, I threw George a kiss for ya!!! I would have loved to grab his ass for ya, too, but I couldn't get close enough...darn security. Hee Hee. Man can that man fill out a pair of Wranglers. We had a great time at the concert. My neice got her picture taken with Taylor Swift...she's the one that sings that Tim McGraw song. She was the opening act and did really good. I was a little disappointed with George because he sang ALOT of songs I didn't know. He was really promoting his new album, which I don't have and I couldn't sing along. Made me sleepy at the end of the concert...but he looked great.
Thanks for the compliments. I WILL be nice to my sister today!!! Hee Hee.
Hope you have a great day...

Ahhh....thanks for throwing my guy a kiss for me. I'm with you....he definitely can fill out those Wranglers just right. Wish you could've patted that tush for me too....but we will have to wait for next time...maybe the security will be more lax?? LOL
Enjoy your day...and be nice to the sister.
Susan
WOW Tabby!!!! You look fabulous!! Be sure to take of picture of yourself in that black ****tail dress!!!!!! Isn't it great to be able to buy size XL?! Instead of XXXXL!??? I tried on a size 14 pair of jeans at Sears over the weekend and they fit, but when I went to WalMart, their size 14 were a little too snug?! Have you had that problem at all?!?
Holly
Thanks, Holly. I will definately take a picture of myself in the black dress when I fit into it. Can't wait. I put on a 3X top to work out and went in the Kitchen and my son asked me "Why do you have daddy's shirt on?" Made me feel good. So much more of a selection in smaller sizes. I have had problems with different brands fitting differently. My Lane Bryant Venezia Jeans and my Levi's in size 16 fit me great. I tried on my Old Navy 16's and they are too snug. I hate that. I am having the same problem with bra's, too. I am wearing a size 42B from Fashion Bug, but the Lane Bryant 42Bs are too tight and the ones I bought at Target at too small, too. I will get in them, in time. Working on it. Congrats to you for getting into a 14!!! I'm so proud of you. Keep up the great work!!!
Hugs,
Tabby
