Not a happy camper
I am the flip side of the coin....My MIL had WLS about 5 years ago now so when she asks questions I know it comes from a caring place. Also, I have shouted from the roof tops that I had WLS. I see it as a way to educate others and disspell some of the myths that surround it.
BUT...with that said I want to let you know that I hate that your inlaws took it upon themselves to 'out' you like that. For each of us it is as personal a decision to tel or not to tell as it is to have the surgery in the first place. Like you said...live and learn.
