QOTD...thought I would try this...
OK before I answer if Felicia is volunteering for weekend cleaning then I want on the sign up sheet.
1) Are you married or single? If so how long? What Marriage is this?
Married ..... almost 6 months now .... 1st and last for both of us!
2) What is your lifetime dream? Are you trying to achieve that dream? If not Why not?
My lifetime dream was to be a wife and a Mom. 1/2 way there!
3) Where will you be 15 years from now?
Still happily married loving my hubby even more than I did the day we got married and dishing out as much love as humanly possible to my kids!
4) Do you have a ritual for the beginning of spring? If so what is it?
Not really. It is the beginning of Lent so usually I give up something...hmmmm...maybe this year I will give up soda! Yeah I think I oculd do that one pretty easy!!! Decided there was not much to give up as I already did. Just the usual purge of junk and spring cleaning as well.
5) Where is your favorite place in the whole world?
With my hubby and family
6) How old where you when you first fell in love? Did you marry that first love?
hmmmm 1st love...real love that is....had to have really been not till I was acutlally 28...and almost but NO WAY!!!!!!!!!!! So glad as I met my hubby and now and married to the love of my life!
Great questions!
1) Are you married or single? If so how long? What Marriage is this? Ha ha, how about somewhere inbetween? Engaged! But, I can answer "married" after April 29th.
2) What is your lifetime dream? Are you trying to achieve that dream? If not Why not? I've had so many dreams. Right now my lifetime dream is to own my own private piano studio and work teaching lessons out of my home ...and to be able to quit my current fulltime job to concentrate on the piano lesson business. Am I working to acheive that dream, yes.....right now I am teaching in students homes in the evenings after work, it's going so well I am contantly turning down students. The Boy checked on adding me to his works health insurance after we are married...since it is just him and his boss and they are not on a group plan, we would have to pay the entire cost ($500 a month) - so for now, the dream of me quitting my desk monkey job is not going to work - plus the fact that he owns a tiny condo - no room for a piano, so no place for a studio...I'll keep plugging away by driving all over 2 counties in the evenings teaching in homes.
3) Where will you be 15 years from now? Wow, I'll be 50! That seems so grownup! I hopefully will have kiddos of some sort in the house (we are seriously thinking of foster parenting after we get a decent sized house), and I would love to be living the above mentioned dream. So, I'm not sure...but I know I'll be healthier than ever!
4) Do you have a ritual for the beginning of spring? If so what is it? If you mean spring cleaning - you have to be kidding - I hate it. I do like to get outside the first beautiful day and make a huge deal about the warmth of the air and the feel of the sun.
5) Where is your favorite place in the whole world? Hatchers Pass, Alaska. A long drive up a mountain (can only be completely done in summer as you usually get to a place where the snow is blocking the road....even in June). The view is incredible up there.
6) How old where you when you first fell in love? Did you marry that first love? 9th grade. I dated him through several years of college, we got engaged twice and twice he cheated on me. I am thinking, however, that I wasn't really in love...just in love with the idea of being in love if you get what I mean. Now that I have met "the one"...I can see a huge difference and I think, for the first time, I trully know what love is.
Sorry! I am running a little late on answering these ones!! LOL...
1) Are you married or single? If so how long? What Marriage is this? Married. 20 years. First marriage(for both of us!)
2) What is your lifetime dream? Are you trying to achieve that dream? If not Why not? I wanted to get married and have my children, which I have accomplished. Then when my kids started school I wanted to return to school and get my college degree, which I did--I graduated from DuBois Business College in March 1999 with an Associate in Specialized Business. Now, my dream is to keep up with my weight loss and enjoy my children, my granddaughter and my husband!
3) Where will you be 15 years from now? Thin....living in the log cabin we'd like to build in the country!
4) Do you have a ritual for the beginning of spring? If so what is it? No, not really. We usually plant our flowers around Memorial Day, but once the weather gets nice, my husband and I will begin walking. We walk 5 miles every night -- it takes us about an hour and I am looking forward to it more than ever this year!!
5) Where is your favorite place in the whole world? Anywhere with my family!
6) How old where you when you first fell in love? Did you marry that first love? 15, no I didn't marry him. I sometimes wonder where he is now and how he is doing, though.
