I have a IDEA!!!

Ok..it has been mentioned about all of us getting together in October of this year for everyone's 1 year mark and I think it is a excellent idea!! So after looking over where everyone leaves and seeing what actually what state is between us all...well we are spread all over the place. So my question or questions are these.. 1) What state would everyone like to visit? 2) Would ever one be interested in doing this? and if not Why? 3) What weekend is the best for everyone in October? If anyone can think of anything else let me know!! We can do this... Hugs,

Here is my two cents...what it is worth. 1) What state would everyone like to visit? I would love to visit Hawaii but a little out of the budget...so if we had to stay on land I would vote Florida if we wanted something that everyone could drive to Indiana...then we could all do a cruise!!! 2) Would ever one be interested in doing this? and if not Why? I would love to do this, I am up for anything!! 3) What weekend is the best for everyone in October? It would have to be after the weekend of the 19 and 20th... So lets do this girls....we will be thankful we did!! Hugs,

Indiana or Florida both sound okay to me....especially if the hubby gets the orders we want. *crossing my fingers for TN!!!* 2) Would ever one be interested in doing this? and if not Why? Yes, I'd love to....but only if the money is there for it then. LOL Now that I'm not working, the budget is tighter than it once was. Of course, if we are able to sell our house by this summer, we are going to use part of the proceeds to pay off ALL our credit cards - and maybe even the van. If we do that, then I can definitely afford to come! Then the question will be, is everyone in my house well.... So, I guess I can be put down as a "definite maybe". 3) What weekend is the best for everyone in October? Any weekend that my hubby doesn't have to work. That way he can take care of the kids and I can have a weekend away and all to myself. Wow.....just imagine!!! Thanks for working on this for us!!! Susan

1) What state would everyone like to visit? Hubby and I would like to take the kids to Florida some time this year. If we met there, I could incorporate two trips in one. Take some time with you guys and some time with the family. I want to go to Disney. We want to stay at the Nickelodeon Suites by Holiday Inn. I would also like to go to New York and see a show. Or go to Vegas, but Hubby wants to go there, too. 2) Would ever one be interested in doing this? and if not Why? I would be interested. It would be great to meet everyone. 3) What weekend is the best for everyone in October? I believe my nieces birthday is the first weekend in October. I like the idea of W. Va. Short drive for me. There is a town there called Berkley Springs that is wonderful. We could have a spa weekend. The natural springs are just lovely. they also have a wonderful Apple Festival in October usually the weekend after my birthday which is 10/10.

Hey Aime, W.Va sounds good to me too. Not that far from me in Pa. Also saw that your birthday was 10-10. So is mine. Didn't we have a great birthday present getting this surgery........I remember my girls giving me a birthday party and they made wise food choices for me, since I could not eat heavy. I was never put on liquid pre op diet or anything at all, just told not to over do it before surgery. But your idea of the get together sounds really good to me. Are you a teacher? My daughter is a 5th grade teacher in Fredricksburg, Va but hopes to return to teach up here next year. Well, take care.....Lots of love......Gay

West Virginia is ok by me, anything along the lines of a 1-6 hour drive (I wouldn't want to do more than that solo - but then again, there is always carpooling). Another option might be Virginia Beach? 2) Would ever one be interested in doing this? and if not Why? Yes, yes yes, as long as it is affordable. Pretty sure Florida would be financially out of the picture - plus the fact that it would require several days to drive it and with all the time I have scheduled off already this summer (honeymoon plus vacation) - I don't know that I will have the hours to take. 3) What weekend is the best for everyone in October? Any one of them at this point.
