Good morning!! Wednesday was an absolutely gorgeous day here in NW PA...it was 49 degrees!! And then yesterday ...... I came to work at 7:30 and it was cooler but completely clear until about 8:00 am when it turned dark and then it began to snow!! It was a white out! I couldn't see the office buildings across the street from my office!! I knew my son was taking his girlfriend to get her ride to school about 30 minutes from here, but I figured he was almost home by the time the snow started. Then, at 8:30 my husband called me to tell me that our son and our granddaughter had been in an accident, he didn't know anything other than that. So, I took off to pick up my father-in-law (my son was driving my in-laws car!) and go to where the accident had happened. (By this time, we knew they were ok)....on the way some jerk pulled out in front of me and I automatically hit the brakes, I know, bad idea! My father in law and I started to slide and thank goodness all I did was slide to the side of the road...anyways, we made it to where my son was and the state police were there, the paramedics and the tow truck. THANK GOD my son and the baby were ok, but because the baby was in the car they wanted the paramedics to check her out to make sure she was ok. She laughing and smiling and kissing the paramedics, my son was scared to death and white as a ghost! My in-laws car is damaged, but not demolished...thank goodness!! My son's blood pressure was 168/100....high for a 19 year old, but the paramedics said they thought it was just from the accident, but I took him to the doctor to be checked just in case and he was ok....the baby is fine...the lady my son hit was fine and there was not an ounce of damage to her car! The lady in front of him stopped suddenly and he couldn't get stopped!! Dan is sore this morning from where the air bag hit him...he said it made his hands fly off the steering wheel and his hat flew in the back seat! He said the baby slept the entire time until the air bags went off and then she just looked around and smiled at him.... I was proud of myself because as stressed as I was....I did not go to food for comfort!!!! When we got home, the baby sat on my lap (she's almost 2) and we read books and just played.... Anyway, sorry for all the babbling! I just had to share! Holly

I wish this snow and freezing rain would just go away!!! So glad that everyone is OK. Hugs to all of you.... Tabby

Oh my Holly!!! I'm so thankful that no one was hurt. After all, cars can be repaired and/or replaced, people you love can't! Glad you avoided an accident also. WHEW! Stay safe with this weather. *big hugs* to your family! Susan
