OT- Computer question

Ok, I know I am probably one of the few people left in this world that still has dial up. I come in at a decent speed but was wondering if others find this OH site to run slow? Lately it has seemed like it takes forever to go from page to page. And another problem I have been having these past couple days is once I am into a thread and go to try and get back to the topics, I get the message that the page has expired and I have to refre**** each time. I run my Norton's daily, clean the computer with Adaware Spyware, have defragged and cleaned things up. Just wondering if anyone else is experiencing this or if it is just something with my computer. Any wisdom out there would be appreciated. Thanks.........Gay

What browser are you using? I know that some times I have problems when I go to start a thread when I am using FireFox and I have to switch over to crappy IE. It doesn't do it to me all the time just onces in a while. As for the slowness its all the ad's they have running. Its a killer no matter what speed you connect at. *huggles* Felicia =0)

Sorry, but I don't have dialup. I have a Cingular Aircard that I use in my laptop. I can go anywhere in the cingular network and connect. I love it. It is pretty fast, too. I have noticed that when I am in a thread I can't click the back button to go back to the main list of messages, I have to click on the home button above the messages. URGH!!! But I am used to it now. Hope things speed up for you soon. hugs, Tabby

Tabby, I will give the Home button a try,it may help. Just frustrating having to constantly hit the refresh button and wait. Then again it gives me a chance to take a drink of water......Oh well. Thanks so much.......Gay
