Okay...JUST heard this on the radio. If you carry around/wear these three things you are now considered old school... 1. a watch 2. a day planner 3. a cell phone Why, you ask?? Because now they have the PDAs that do it all! So....I guess that makes me old school. Oh well.... It could be worse. I think... Susan Back to cleaning now. Thanks for the break!!!

Hmmmm....Sounds like you have one foot in each room??? Or...maybe you are straddling the fence???? I have a calendar at home and paper in my purse to make notes on for upcoming events....a cell phone - that I use for my watch.... What does that make me???? I feel like I'm from another century sometimes....Oh wait, I am!! I'm from the 20th and we are now in the 21st!!!!! Susan

I have a calendar ( kind of a planner type calendar book thing) that I can NOT live with out. It is open and sitting right on my desk at all times lolol. I use the PDA for games roflmaooo but eventually hope to be busy enough to need it for reminders *grin*. Ok so if you count the cell phone as a watch I do have that lol I even use my cell as my alarm clock. Its one of the few things I have that I never leave a room let alone the house with out. We do not have a house phone so its it! lol I bought the coolest purse and now have everything I will ever need ( not its not huge lol ) all in its own pockets ( I even think there is a kitchen sink in there HAHAHAHA. I loved it so much I bought one for my Mom and a few other people for christmas presents. IT ROCKS! I am a compulsive list maker so I have note pads every where lolol. *huggles* Felicia =0)

Hey Felicia!!! We do the same thing. We went totally wireless 3 years ago and love it. My cell is with me always. I use the alarm and calendar functions on it to remind me to pick up the kids from school, for appts, for everything - including getting up in the morning!!! It's wonderful. That new purse sounds awesome. I love purses...I'm a purse fanatic, actually.....Don't get me going on purses..... And, I'm with you on the lists. I make one for everything. You can find paper and pens in every room of the house, the van and my purse. If I'm reading a book, there will be a couple of sheets stuck in the back of it - just in case I get inspired by something - maybe mentioning a food I'd like to find a recipe so I can try it, a quote that is awesome, or whatever!!! Oh man we dropped the house phone about 6 years ago and I tell you what it was the BEST THING WE DID! Have never missed it EVER! We even had the phone company come out and take the lines OFF the house! He kept saying "are you sure". YUP!!!!!! I cant live with out my phone lol. My life is on there. Calendar, alarms, reminders, music, photos ( mine has a macro disc its awesome). It goes to bed with me and gets me up in the morning lolol. Its my baby. I am one step below a PDA phone but didn't want to pay all the extra monthly fees you have to with those.. What a pain. Ok ok ok I gotta show you http://www.qvc.com/qic/qvcapp.aspx/app.detail if it doesn't come up go to http://qvc.com and type in Item Number F00273. I also have the smaller one but this one IS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I got the black but there are several colors. I am a bag of all kinds freak. I love bags. Purses, back packs, ANYTHING that is "bag" form lolol. Its terrible. I have to walk by that section in the stores with my eyes clothes or I just KNOW I will see a new wallet I need or bag I just KNOW i have to have lolol. ROFLMAO Yup I have note pads and pens every where! Especially near the bed. Get the best ideas at around 2am LOLOL ( in comes the phone again here as it lights up my note pad hahahaha) I love technology things to though. If its electronic I want it. Well almost I have not moved on to the Ipod thing yet but I am working my way up there lol. I have 4 computers and every kind of known gadget to hook up to them lolol. We are to funny! *huggles* Felicia =0)

Cute purse!! Looks like it has room for everything...and a place for everything too!! And, technology stuff too!! 4 computers? There are only three of you in the house!! LOL Too funny....My kids would be in heaven if we had 4 computers. Currently we have this one that runs very well and one old one that is used in emergency situations, but lives in the top of the older boys closet. Susan

Yup we are a computer family. Joshua got his first computer at 18 months. He is now better at running it then his dad lmaooo He also has his curriculum online so its just nicer to have it all loaded into his computer. Wouldn't know how to function with out a computer around lol. We don't share well *grin* so everyone got their own. Thank goodness for wireless lol or there would be cords every where!! *huggles* Felicia =0)

Crud, I am so old school I date back to the one room classrooms........I only wear a watch when I go out and don't even own a cell phone. I haven't seen the need for one since I am rarely alone and whoever I am out with usually has one if there is an emergency. I know I lead a sheltered life, but what can I say, I am old school, I guess.

Gay!!! I love your posts, you always make me smile!! Sweetie...it's okay to be old school - even if it was one with only one room!! At least you aren't in the dark ages ...... After all, you DO have a computer and know how to use it!!!! I've been trying to get my parents to move into the new millenium, but they steadfastly refuse. My Mom's reasoning is if they can't figure out the DVD/VCR combo, how on earth can they figure out a computer???? I usually agree that she does have a point. BTW, I would wear a watch if I would stop hitting against things and scarring the face so much that I can tell the time. Have I ever mentioned I'm incredibly clumsy???? Susan
