20 year High School Reunion...

Yep..it is coming up and I am on the planning committee. We had our first meeting last night, I was also on the 15 year committee and have changed quite a bit since then. The one thing that stood out to everyone is that I am blonde nothing about the weight loss. Of course I have been sitting here trying to remember what I was like in high school and I weighed about 170 lbs but I am different then 5 years ago. Our reunion is set for October 19 and 20th which will be a little after my 1st birthday for surgery and boy do I want to be at that 135 mark. I would love to be the most changed...plus to rub it in the guys faces that used to call me Mama Moose!! Aren't I awful... Anyone else on here having a reunion of some sort? Also...it was mentioned that we should all get together for our one year anniversaries...that sounds great!! So everyone tell what states they are from and I will get a atlas and find out somewhere between us all and lets make that a goal for us all. Then we can pick a date in October that is convenient for everyone...I have to put in the first week of October is out for me and also the weekend of the 19 and 20th but I am game the other weekends. I would love to see you guys. So get back with me soon. Now...I have that dang bug again...I am home with a 102 fever, cough, nasally, UTI, Ear infection, sinus infection just down right cruddy feeling so I hope everyone else is feeling and doing great. Hey you! My 20 year should be this year too. but no where on classmates.com has it said anything. that is the only place I know to look. I look the same as I did in high school. Just more wrinkles.. lol. I think my hair is even the same.. Just more blond.. Same 80's bangs. Just cant get rid of those things.. lol.. WOW does that sound fun!! Ok no it doesn't lol I hated high school and never plan on going back ever to see any of them!! They never even had a 10 year here and my 20th is coming up in 2010 and I am sure they wont get there crap together enough to do it either which is FINEEEEE by me. I wouldn't qualify for most changed anyways lol I graduated weighing 145lbs soooooooooo I would get it now if I went LOLOL but hopefully by then I wont be much different size wise then I was when I was last there. Sorry to hear you are sick again!! That so has to suck!! Keep it there cuz I sure don't want it. I swear I think I am the only one that hasn't been sick lol and I am so keeping it that way!! *heads off to find the lysol to spray the computer down with* *huggles* Felicia =0)

Okay...I'm feeling old now. My 20th HS reunion was in 2005. I didn't bother going. I didn't like most of them then and don't expect to now. LOL Oh well... Most of my friends were ahead of me. My senior year was lonely, long and miserable, for the most part. I did have a couple of people that were supposed to be good friends, but it turned out they weren't. Live and learn, right? I'm coming up on 20 years since graduating college!!! That'll be in 2009. And, I'll be 40 in July.... I'm in TX...but have no clue where I'll be in October. Hubby is up for orders and we will move in either July or when the house sells. So, I'll have to chime in with that later. We are looking at orders for either TN or possibly VA.... Will let you know when it happens!! Sorry you are feeling so yucky again!! You've been sick a LOT lately. You poor girl!! Hi there I am an 80's baby too, lol. My reunion is at the end of June and OMG I am not ready,lol. I was 113 pounds when I gradutated and I would love to just get down to 145-150 by that time. Wishful thinking! Realistically I could be down to about 175 and I will be really happy with that. Good luck with your venture, Tara

OK I did not go to my 10 year reunion and do not plan on gonig to any others. Hated highschool and all my friends graduated in the years before I did so noone I really have any interest in seeing when the next one roles around either. YAY I am so up for a reunion with all of us. I , like Susan, will have to chime in on where we are later as we are tetering between a move to CO right now. They are some promising things here in NJ though that could hold us here. We will know by the end of April. But I am totally up for it. CO would be a great place for a reunion though. Colorado Springs is a great place. Not that I am partial after growing up there basically all my life or anything but it is beautiful with the mountains. Although I love to travel and seeing some place new would be a blast as well! I can't wait to see what you come up with as far as where we all are. Get inot bed and get some rest. I have been planning our class reunions every five years since we graduated because our class president had a new GIRLFRIEND and didn't have time to plan the first one, so I took over, Impeached him and have been on the records as president since. I need to organize my committee to plan the next one, I think next year. I can't wait for everyone to see me. I was 185 when we graduated. I want to be 165 by the time they see me again. What a change. I am all for the get together!!! I'd love to meet everyone. It would be cool if whoever is doing scrapbooks of thier journey would bring them to share. How cool would that be????
