I have it again...

The CRUD!!! On Saturday I had to go into the PCP again. ugh!!! She really does not know what is going on but took a strep culture, also since I have the EGD coming up on Wed she did not want me to go untreated. I am starting to get my voice back it is just deeper than normal but at least you can hear me unlike on Friday and Saturday. Hurry up Spring so that this crud will go away. Oh wait a minute let me rethink that one...spring allergies kick in. I guess I'll still take Spring over this cold weather we have been having. Hugs~~ Deanne

Hey deanne, sorry to hear you've got the drated crud again. Have you noticed that since this surgery alot of people seem to be getting sick more often? I think alot of it has to due w/ the malabsorbtion w/ all have to deal w/. Luck be w/ me, I haven't been one of those people, knock wood. Knock, knock. It's so bad down here in the south that there are 2 schools shut down and a hosp. And nursing home that will not allow any visitors. This is not the dreaded sinus infection but the flu and the norovirus. This is a very contagious stomach/ intestinal bug that can last up to six days. It's spreading like wild fire. And nothing you can do but let it run it's course and try to keep hydrated. Hope you're feeling better soon and have good results from the egd. Donna, sfy

I just want the crud over with soon!!! I always get it and really it is not any different since before or after surgery, which is good in my case I always get it. I heard about the hospital, schools, ect being closed due to the sickness going around. Everyday I feel better which is good. I hope after Wed I feel great from the EGD. Hugs~~ Deanne

Oh Deanne...you need a break girl! What are we gonna do with you ??? I hear ya though. The weather here has gone up and down thus the heat goes up and down and so di the sinnuses. I am so glad you have your EGD on Wed. I know you and Tiff are really struggleing. My heart goes out to both of you. I am sending get well wishes and lots of hugs your way! Susan~~ I am feeling better each day. I am glad too and please keep your fingers crossed that this is the last time that I have to have this done. I am so frustrated with not being able to keep things down anymore. I will post tomorrow on how I am doing but I am sure it will not be until the afternoon depending on how I am feeling. I hate to hear you have the crud again...but I am right there with you. In fact going to the DR tomorrow. Feeling awful and sleeping alot. I do think it is because of lack of malasorption, I have been sick more this year than I have been in long time.
