Half Way There
As of yesterday, I am down 80 lbs...so, that's 80 more to go! Gosh, that feels good!
When I get on the scale, however, I have this ten second emotional rollercoaster ride each day: "Oh, good...why isn't it more...yay...move, damn you...sigh...this is good...let me get off this thing..."
Last Thursday, I went to my old workplace; my job there ended a month and a half before my surgery. It was fun - the odd looks, the compliments, the confusion ("um...you changed...your hair?") - good fun
The terminally *****y receptionist didn't say anything nice, just acted like she didn't notice. So, I sat down in one of the comfy chairs across from her desk, crossed my legs (like a girl), and smiled, chatted, and flirted with pretty much everyone who passed by LOL! Talk about fun! I felt like a celebrity.

It was fun...I had told a few friends at the job that I was having surgery and one let it slip to the biggest and most vicious gossip in the place. So, of course, now everyone knows. I was ticked off at first, mostly that the friend let me down, but I don't care now...people will do and think and say what they want and that's a reflection on who they are, not on who I am.
There were some new people wandering through the lobby while I was in there waiting and it was fun having them check me out...I can't seem to stop flirting these days

80 lbs?? WOW!! That is so good. You are way ahead of me.. I had surgery 2 weeks before and have lost 10 lbs less.. GREAT JOB on your part!! WWoohhhhoooooo.. thati s too funny about the receptionist! I have a few girls like that here at work.. I just make sure I walk by their desk on days I look extra thin. heeee heee. They act like they dont even know I lost anything. Too funny about the hair thing. I posted a while ago about how people never asked if I was losing weight, they asked me if I changed my hair?? I thought that was very odd..
Well, GREAT JOB once again!
Luvs and Hugs!

Isn't that funny, about the hair? I ran into someone who hadn't seen me since surgery a couple weeks back and she did the same thing. First, she walked right past me. I had to touch her arm to get her attention...then she just looked at me...then she said, "Oh!" And then she looked confused and said, "You...you...changed your hair?" Funny
