Some Good News...Some Bad News....

Some good news!!! My hubby and I did my measurements...lost a inch on the waist and hips and thighs...WOOHOO!! I also weighed this morning, , lost a pound and now down to 201...come on 199!!! Great Huh!! Now for the bad news!!! We did my hubby's measurements... His waist and mine same size...hips are only 5 inches smaller than me and of course everything else is bigger except for the chest which is a good thing!! So I have been trying to get under his weight which is 185 and I am so close to being under his size...bad news for him but good news for me...!! Now for the real bad news...I sat down with my hubby and asked him last night what plans does he have for us this weekend. He actually said that he wanted me to go out and have a great time with my friends...and he would even try to go out with us Saturday night. Well we have about 4 people going with us, another couple besides us and two other girlfriends, and he decided tonight he didn't know if he wanted to go or not. What the He**!! I told him also that I didn't want my best friend and some others to drive home drunk so if they need a place to sleep then they will stay with us...now this is what he said and I quote " I don't even look forward to the weekends anymore and now there will be a house full of of people." He is not a total people person and I am..he is driving me totally crazy...he was totally ok with me going..and now... I didn't reply to his quote..and now I am totally thinking of calling Saturday night totally off, but I hate to because my best friend is going out with my cousin and it will be there first date. Again it is probably just me...I just need to vent!!! I am going !!! I gave him ample time to say something about the weekend...but he is the one that stated go out and have fun with your friends. He did stay home today because of sinus problems and he wanted to watch the Daytona Nascar Races so I am wondering if he isn't feeling that great plus his Nascar is on so I am ok with that but I feel he isn't trying. WOW, ANGELA!!! Congrats on the inches lost and the pound. Guess what my scale said this morning???? You guessed it...201!!!! URGH!!! WE are almost there. So close, it is just teasing us. I see the carrot dangling. We'll get there this weekend. I just know it!!! I'm sorry for your husband throwing this at you. But he did tell you to go out and have fun. Is the race on Saturday night? If it is, he probably wants to stay home and watch it or watch the Busch race, rather than go out. But he knows that since your BF is going out with your cousin that you will want to be there for moral support. Don't read too much into it. Hopefully this turns out to be a decent weekend for you. 199 is coming! Keep it up. Congrats on the good news. As far as the bad news, I am sorry to hear you're struggling. The only advice I can give you is to "hang in there."

Hi Angela, Well girl let the guy see his race and go have some fun , if you fuss about it with him its just going to start some blah blah blah thing , i just let mine have his weekend , and i have my own , you will now what to do . i em also running for my 199, just 5.5 pound to lose and it feels like forever. Everything seems to have worked out this weekend after visiting a therapist on Friday. We have done quite a bit of talking these few days. I did go out last night(Friday) and tonight he has decided to go and of course that depends on whether my cousin and her go out or not. I am actually ok with staying home tonight so it doesn't matter to me. We are going to be great!! We will survive this and be stronger than ever.
