Card Exchange Please Read!

I am wanting to keep this really casual and not to strict so that if one month someone cant send it doesn't effect everyone, know what I mean?
Since pairing up people is hard to keep track of and has a high risk of someone not getting something I thought we would do it this way...
To with that. Everyone will send a card to Everyone on the list.

If you are out of the USA PLEASE feel free to participate but if possible provide mailing how to information if you have it.
Then I will compile a list of everyone and email it to EVERYONE!
Now before you panic remember its not like there are a billion of us on this board, so don't freak out that you will be spending a small fortune on stamps and cards ok. This is the whole point of sending the addresses to everyone about everyone. Just send out WHAT you can. BUT on the flip side this does not give you an excuse to only send out 1 or 2 cards either. If I find out that some one is deliberately sending out only 1 or 2 cards they will be removed from the list. Cards are not that expensive ( besides you can make your own for CHEAP!) and if you don't want to spend that much on postage how about using postcards? There is always a way ok!! If at anytime you do not want to participate anymore just email me and I will contact everyone that you are done. No reason need be given and no hard feelings for having to drop out. Life is life so lol no worries ok!
Then once a month cards will be needed to be sent out. Please post mark them within the 1st 2 weeks of each month so that everyone will get them before the end of that month.
This will go for exactly 12 months Starting in January 2007 and ending in December 2007 with Final holiday cards. If at that time we still want to do this we of course can continue it on from there.
ANYONE can join in ANYTIME! So please email your information to me anytime and I will get your info out to everyone. You will be added to the list the following month.
There are no rules to what you send as long as its a card/letter/postcard type thing. Theme can be anything you want. Holiday, just because, howdee doo, you name it. Home made, store bought, its totally up to you.
Everyone is providing a small bit about themselves so that you can kind of have an idea of something about the person you are sending to.
This is supposed to be fun, with few rules so please lets keep it light.
To sum it up:
1. Email me the information asked for above.
2. If you email me starting today you will be added to the list in March!
3. Mail out your cards in the 1st 2 weeks of each month.
4. Email anytime if you want to be added or taken off the list.
5. HAVE FUN!!!

Hey Felicia,
I was thinking that when everyone sends their cards they should PM you so you can check them off the list? Or would that be too much work for you?? We can have everyone send it to me? I sent my out. But, I would just hate for someone to get cut from the list if one got lost in the mail.
I too love this and think that it is so wonderful to send the love! I have all my cards set up at work. Everyone asks me about them.

Well in all fairness... if everyone gets their cards out in the 1st to weeks as the rules ( the only rule for that matter ) states then people shouldn't HAVE to PM me that they got their cards out *smilies*.
No one just gets dropped hon. I will contact the ones I am going to remove before removing them but on the flip side its pretty simple to just post or email me if a person cant get their cards out on time for some reason or another. Common courtesy type thing...
I also talk to several people through out the month, I make sure for just that reason of maybe it got lost in the mail, to see what cards they have received as a back up check before just assuming someone didn't send out cards..
Not to sound like I am being unfair but we ALL are putting a lot of work, time and money into this exchange.. There is only one rule. Get your cards out in the 1st 2 weeks of the month. There is always a slack week before the list is sent out in the last week of the month. So basically everyone ends up with 3 weeks to get cards out before I send the list out for the following month. If you add in the last week of the previous month that actually gives everyone almost FOUR weeks to get the card out and still make it some what on time. Yes I know things always can come up. Illness, kids, work etc... but if there is time for posting there is time for notifying.
