Wow...Holiday's are over, all is back to "normal" and I am doing good! Gallbladder still gives me some problems, but I'm putting off having it removed until my co-worker gets back off his medical leave (he had major back surgery and won't be back for another month). So far, it hasn't been too painful and Dr. Schramm said, just call the office when you are ready. Labs all came back great! Just a bit low on B-12 which is being managed with a supplement. Weight at 3 months was a loss of 65lbs! Yeah me! He has never given me a goal weight and when I asked him about one, his answer was that he had "given a tool and it was up to" me on how I used it. ;) I am so grateful that he has realistic objectives for me. He did say for my age 170 is good but he also said, lower would be great too as long as I continue to eat healthy. Yeah me again! Sooo this week, 1 week shy of 4 months, I have lost a total of 78 lbs! I now weigh what I weighed when I married my husband (we will have been married for 8 yrs this June) and I can see in my future hitting my goal This is a wonderul tool! While not every day is easy, some days I just don't know what I will "feel" like eating or if it will even if my pouch is going to like what I have fed it. But I don't regret my decision. I just keep a variety of foods on hand so that I am always able to find something my pouch likes. Fortunately, my husband is extremely understanding about the days I just don't "feel" like eating what has been cooked for dinner and that I fix another meal..lol He has been great! Tells me all the time how proud he is of me for making this decision and for following all the rules. I must say, if I didn't love him so much before, his attitude regarding this lifestyle change makes my love for double..triple...ooh..it's tremendously full! Hopefully, I won't stay away so long..but hard to say as work is extremely busy and once I get home, I'm beat sooo I mainly veg. Thank you to all you here!! This place makes it possible to stay strong!
