Well....he's worse this morning. Says his chest feels tighter than yesterday and it hurts more to take a deep breath. He has an appt at 1:00. I have the bags packed for a hospital stay. Included are video games for us both and my MP3 player, an afghan as I'm always cold, clothes for me, pj bottoms for him and my food! Learned my lesson last time. This time I'm going prepared with my protein drinks, a few South Beach Diet protein bars, s/f mix-ins for bottles of water, quarters to buy the water, and some s/f hot chocolate mix. They have a coffee room for parents and always have a pot of ho****er so you can make your own stuff too. As you can tell, I fully expect him to be admitted. I have to come home tonight in the middle of the night to stay with the other three while hubby has to go back to the ship (he's active duty navy, if I haven't mentioned it before) for a few hours. I'll try to send an update then on how he's doing. After that, I'm not sure how often I'll make it home. When I do, I'll send out an update though and try to catch up for a few. Take care everyone. Have a wonderful Valentine's Day. Hubby was a sweetheart and brought a dozen red roses and balloons home to me last night. He was afraid we'd end up in the hospital today and he wanted me to get to enjoy them for a while. Isn't that sweet? I am guessing that he and I will go out once this crises with Matthew is over....If not, that's okay too. Love you guys! Susan

Super big hugs and lots and lots of prayers coming your way. Be careful they are probably a little chilly as we are in an ice storm so you better warm them up first LOL. What a sweet hubby! Aren't they the best! For his sake I hope you end up the the hospital. Sounds like that is what is going to be best. Best wishes and lots of chilly hugs and warm prayers coming your way from NJ. Hugs, Melissa

Oh Susan, I am so sorry you have to be going through all of this with Matthew. It is so heart wrenching when your child is sick. I have been so fortunate and have not had to deal with much with my girls. Jessi has had some foot surgery for plantars warts, but nothing where they have had to spend the night. Other than that, they have all been so healthy. It sounds like he is on so many medicines, maybe he is having adverse reactions to them. Whatever it is, I hope they find a solution for him. Are they sending his school work home or is he missing all of this school work? Hopefully not. Hubby sounds so sweet to be thinking of you that way. Here in Pa. we are having terrible ice and snow storms so I imagine there will be a lot of cancelled plans tonight. Sounds too like you are well prepared for you visit, you have thought of everything. Good luck to you and your family. Take care of yourself and let us know how things turn out. My prayers are with you and Matthew. Love.....Gay

Susan, you know I sending you hug hugs and P&PT's!!! I hope that for Matthews sake that he does get admitted. Sounds like you are super-prepared. Looking at your list, I now know what to take when my hubby goes in for his WLS in two weeks. Hopefully they get your some on some good, strong meds to kick this thing once and for all. What a rough month this has been for all of you. My heart goes out to you. ((((HUGS)))) Your hubby sounds wonderful. How sweet to give you your V-Day gift early so you can enjoy them. My hubby thinks flowers are a waste of money. He only buys me flowers when I have babies and that ship has sailed, so I don't know when I will get anymore. Hee Hee. Please update us when you can. But if we don't hear from you, we know your son has been admitted, which is good news. Huge Hugs, Tabby
