Results of upper GI..

Hi Guys! My Doc called me today and yes, I have a severe narrowing at the end of my esophagus . I need to go have it dilated. So... I feel very relieved that it wasn't just me eating too fast or not chewing good enough. I also feel relieved it isn't in my head.. Well they have instructed me to stay on soft foods till they can get the referral for the Gastrologist. Then I will see him. I hope I have the procedure done before then end of the month. I am going away for work for 3 days. A Training conference. I love them. It is my free mini vacation. We get to go on a boat dinner cruise. I would hate to be hanging off the side of the boat puking after dinner. Oh my.. I would just die.. I will keep you guys posted on the next step. Thanks for being there!!! Luvs and Hugs! Tiffany

Aw, Tiff. So glad that you found out that there really WAS something wrong. Not that I am glad that there is something wrong with you, but I am glad that you now know it was not in your head. Too bad that you couldn't get it taken care of last week. I hope that you get some relief soon. It would be nice to get it fixed before your mini vacation. Hee Hee. Keep me posted!!! I am happy to hear from you, I have been wondering what they found out!! At least they can go in there and fix it for you and that you are not having a problem with the soft foods.
