Make room for me too!!! I started at 389 Surg day 376 Today 307!!! 82lbs down!!! My ideal BMI is between 140 and 150. My doc gave me a goal of 216, but I plan to push to at least 180. sooooooooo 307-180=127lbs to go to my high goal, 157 to go to ideal. The numbers areny even the biggest deal for me. In just a hair over 3 months out I am off both blood pressure meds, off my acid reflux meds, and my c-pap settings have been lowered be half!!! My ankle which I broke the day afte rChristmas 2005 that was not healing correctly is beginning to feel better.....soooooooo yeah, the health is improving already too. This surgery really can be a miracle tool if you do what the docs tell ya to do!!!

Well, if I were to trust those weight charts, I would have about a hundred left to lose...but I don't trust them, especially since someone told me they were compiled during WWII, when there were food shortages and everyone was hungry! Because I'm only 5', the charts have me really low. The lowest I've weighed as an adult was 124. I reached that at 19, through starvation, quickly shot back up to 130, and maintained that through starvation and pills...and I was thin! Clearly, 95-115 lbs is not where I am meant to be. I was going to aim for 130, but have been re-thinking that...I mean, if I could only maintain that in my early 20s through dangerous means...maybe 140 is more sensible a goal for me at my current age and for maintaining good health going forward. And, rather than starving myself, I want to build muscle, which has its weigh too. So...if I am setting 140 as my goal, I have 82 to go...but I'm keeping an open mind at this point - that goal could change.
