HAS ANYONE DONE THIS?
Donna,
Only you can be the judge of that. What's your relationship with chocolate?
I've given in to some cravings - chicken wings, pretzel crisps, a little pasta/rice in my soup, even Eggs Benedict once, with varying results...but I know me and I know these foods. I can walk away from the next offer of the same.
Chocolate? Not a chance. I'm am terrified to learn that I can eat chocolate without dumping...my feelings about chocolate are damn near *****graphic! So, I know I can't touch the stuff yet...eventually...but not yet...
If you enjoyed it and can leave the rest behind, no harm done. I think if we choose our indulgences, knowing who we are, we stay in control...

i have had 70% chocolate. half a block twice.
a few fries every few weeks ... i realised it was the vinegar i was craving.
a few crisps - more than that -> serious dumping!
about a tablespoon chocolate cake - serious dumping, learned my lesson there!!
i mentioned this before on the board but i had a dietician years ago who told me if i wanted a chocolate, rather have it instead of denying yourself and letting the craving go overboard and eventually succumbing...
Hello. I went without Chocolate for about 3 months. That is as long as I could do it. I got some Hersey's Dark chocolate squares and I'll have one a day. If you can keep it to a small amount like that, and it doesn't lead to needing and wanting more, I don't see a problem. But, I could be wrong. I am looking for life-long changes and habbits that are something that I can live with. I can't live my life without chocolate!!!!
