Monday Morning Weigh in!!
You said it!! Hitting those 2-3 week stalls before I would just give up and in a week I would regain all the weight plus another 5-10 pounds. Thankfully, this time I can't do that!! I think that is what I love about this surgery. I have to keep working toward the goal. There is no other option - unless I want to cause myself pain. And, I don't like pain...so that's not an option!!
As for the measurements...I always remember to do those - when I haven't lost much weight. LOL The rest of the time, I forget to do them too.

I think that is the thing I have to remember. This is a life style change and I am happier and healthier because of it. I think of only a few pounds for the week when before I could diet and lose a couple a week, without the surgery. But like you said, I would have fallen off the wagon by now and had gained it all back. So the goal is to keep things in perspective and be proud and happy for each and every pound we lose. I love this board, you guys are so encouraging. Onward to another great week for all of us....Gay
OK It was a great morning. The scale is moving again! YAY!
Surgery Weight : 356
Last week: 299
Today: 297
Loss for this week: - 2
Lost since surgery: -59
Average loss per week: 2.39lbs
Next goal: to see the 280's!
I am fine with only 2lbs. Now that the scale is moving again and I knew why I was not losing in the last month it makes it seem a lot better now! Have not done measurments but will do on Wed. That is my last time I took them so trying to do the once a month thing.
Hope everyone has a great day!
Hugs,
Melissa
