DH's pre-op appt was today
He said it went well, but that he has to do two weeks of protein shakes/liquid diet before the surgery because he has a fatty liver. Didn't get to talk to him too much about that. He also has to change his surgery date from Feb 21st to Feb 28th because of a situation at work. He has been having problems at work for the past several months with a new machine that they got in to cut steel. Turns out that a replacement machine is coming the week he was supposed to have his surgery, so he really needs to be at work that week. Sucks because his mom is a nurse and changed the schedule to be off work for two days while he was in the hospital so she could watch the kids, now we need her the next week and I don't know if she can change the schedule for that week or not. He can talk to her about that. I asked her the first time. URGH!!!
That's all I have on DH for now. OH, and I want to GNC last week to get myself some protein powder and since I had the Gold Card I got 20% off my purchase. I had a coupon where if I spent $75 I got $15 off, so I was trying to spend $75. They had their huge containers of Optimum Nutrition Whey on sale for $10 off, so I picked up two of them...I believe they are originally $49.99 and I got them for $39.99. I also picked up a couple RTD Isopure shakes or whatever and with my coupons, the sale and my GNC Gold Card my total was like $56. Not too shabby!!! I'm so glad I got the huge containers of Whey since he has to do protein shakes for 2 weeks. I got Chocolate and Vanilla. We can play around with them. Good deal.

Sounds like things are really lining up for your hubby's surgery. I hope his Mom is able to get off to watch the kids for you guys.
Great deals at GNC. Now that you mention the coupon, it reminds me I had one too! UGH....forgot to take it in, so didn't get that extra discount. Oh well..... Congrats on YOU getting such a good deal though. WTG!! (I love to bargain shop.)
