COLD!!!

It is FREEZING!!! My daughter had a delay for school yesterday and no school today! It is one degree here in NW PA....the wind chill is 15 below! I hate getting cold, because it seems like forever for me to warm up again!! Other than that, today is good.....hope everyone is having a good day, too!! Holly

I'm freezing, too. It was 1.4 degree's this morning when I finished work. Luckily I work from home, so I didn't have to leave the house. My basement right now is 55 degree's. Time to crank up the electric fireplace. We didn't have school in our School District yesterday or today. Brrrrrrr!!!!! I'm glad we didn't have school because my mom works for the school and since she was off, she has been watching the kids the past two days...saves me on daycare. Other than the cold, today has been good to me so far...I got on the scale today and am down 2 lbs from yesterday. 204!!! 4.5 lbs to get to onederland!!!! SOOOOO Close!!! I also got my kitchen cleaned am going to work out now and put away some of the kids toys while they are out of the house. Gotta start cleaning the house to get ready for my daughters birthday party that is next weekend. Gotta go work out. Man, has this board been quiet today. Hope everyone is OK and perhaps just too cold to sit still to play on the puter. Hugs, Tabby

YEP!!!!!! It is colder than................. Yesterday, schools here were closed in at least 4 counties that I know of. The wind chill was down to -25. We have been under a wind chill advisory since Saturday. The schools were open today, and the tempurature raised to 3 (wind chill -14)......BUT, it snowed all morning and most of this afternoon and we got 4-5 inches. Tonight, we can look for more wind chills to -20. I work INSIDE the office, but our building is metal. I am wearing the following right now: Undies & Bra Sweat Pants 3 pairs of socks Jeans Camisole T-shirt Long sleeved thermal shirt thick turtleneck sweater long cardigan and I am still a *****illy!!!! It takes FOREVER to get dressed in the morning! Tomorrow, they are calling for a high of 12!!!!!! It will be a heat wave and I will send it on to you soon! Other than the awful weather, things here are the same as always! Have a great day and try to stay warm! Dawn

I hear ya...it is very cold!! Little warmer here about 20 degrees. They let school out early today because it started snowing and apparently they are expecting us to get 3-5 inches and I don't see it happening. In fact it isn't snowing right now. Okay. I feel guilty. Very guilty. When I went to pick up my kids today I wore a sweater over my t-shirt and thought it was a bit cool out. The temp was registering 71. It officially HOT here in comparison to you guys. Anyone want to make a trip to South Texas? Hope it warms up for all of you soon! Susan

Tell me about it! And I didn't see the point of investing in a new winter coat this year, so the one I'm wearing is huge on me, and it does Nothing to keep the wind out...bbbrrrrrrrr...Lisa

It absolutely cracks me up when I see on the news that states are closing schools due to the cold lol. We had temps last week that ranged from -20 to -45 below zero with and without windchills and I have yet to hear of them ever closing the schools here lol. Growing up we were never lucky enough to get snow days lol the buses just plowed on through lolol. Enjoy it! LOL we had it last week its your turn! *evil grin* lol *huggles* Felicia
