Well I broke down and called the Doc today. I havent told you guys but, I have been throwing up anything thicker then a cracker for over a week now. Always had problems with meat but could at least get one bite down. Now, I cant even have a bite. I am so weird. I didnt want to call because I am scared they will fix it and then I will be able to eat again and then stop losing. Do I have mental problems or what? It is like I think, better to throw up what I ate? Then I will lose for sure.. Not normal huh?.. So what made me call was that I have had this horrible pinching pain on my left side where they inserted the tool to staple my tummy. So I was more concerned about that then the throwing up. then they asked me if I was throwing up... I said yes and told them everything. So, they think that I have that stuture(sp??) thing and I have pulled a muscle by throwing up so much. .. They want me to go for an upper GI, They will call and schedule it tomorrow. I feel so bad that I went so long before I called. But I guess my mental issues with eating are still there. I need to work on that. Now, I am worried about the upper GI. How the heck do you drink all that? I will throw up for sure?? Sorry to be so stressed out.. Just feeling bad.. Thanks for listening.. Luvs and Hugs, Tiff

Tiff...Tiff...Tiff...shame on you. I'm so sorry that you have been having problems eating. That really sucks. You should not have waited so long to call your surgeon. At this time, getting sick all the time is a definate sign of a problem. You should know better (smack on the hand). I hope that you get some answers from your upper GI and they can take care of it really easily. Throwing up is NOT the right way for us to be losing. If you keep throwing up, you won't be able to keep any nutrients in. Girl...talk to us and let us help you deal with your food issues. You can do this and lose the healthy way. I hope your pulled muscle gets better, soon!!! That hurts. I've done that in the past with a stomach flu or something. OUCH!!! Sweetie...please take care and let us know when you find anything out. I hope you are on the mend soon. If it is a stricture, they will open it up enough to allow you to eat, but you still won't be able to OVER-eat. DON'T WORRY!!!! HUGE HUGS!!!! Tabby

Tiff, I am so sorry to hear you are having problems! I agree with Tabby, throwing up is NOT the way for us to be losing weight!! Take some deep breaths, you will do fine with the upper GI. The day after my surgery when they checked to make sure I didn't have any leaks I had to drink all sorts of stuff and I thought, how am I ever going to drink all of that without throwing it up? But I did manage! Keep us posted on how you are doing!! Hugs, Holly

Tiff, I am not going to beat you up for not wanting to call because I know that you knew you needed to call. With that said. I am going through the same thing over here but I have to have an EGD done to fix the stricture. I am not just on liquids until I get an appt. I hope they call today as I called yesterday to set something up but they needed to pull my chart. I throw up on protein yesterday and I have never done that before. I had a stricture dileation (sp?) done in Dec and it was so much better when they were done. Keep us posted on your appt. Hugs~~ Deanne

First off- we you!! Don't forget that and we are here for you!! I think you went a little for not calling you DR sooner or even talking to us but I won't brow beat you over it....just don't let it happen again. If it is a stricture and that is what it sound like they can fix it and you will feel so much better and no more for you. It is strange that they are doing a Upper GI, that stuff is nasty, I would think they would just do a EGD and get it over with. I hate that you have the pain in your side... I need the Upper GI when I had my first stricture because it was so bad so now I understand after I thought about it for a minute. It was kinda of kewl because I could watch myself while drinking that stuff and watch it go down through my pouch and let me tell you it was so bad you couldn't even see it going through were it is supposed to. When drinking that stuff think of something else that sounds good to you. Please let us know how things go. We ya!!! Deanne, we are also thinking of you...so keep us up to date!! Hugs,

Thanks again Guys for the Support.. It means so much! I still havent heard from the Doc so I called them. They said they are still waiting for Insurance to Authorize it. They were going to call and ru**** I told them I threw up again this morning and that was just the soft part of an egg. So, I only had had soup for lunch. That went down good. I was telling Tabby that I am nervous that I will go have this upper GI and they will tell me that I have nothing wrong with me and that I am just eating to fast and not chewing or eating too much??? I would die if that was the case.. I dont think that is it though. I really eat slow and chew. Lord. I am such a freak.. lol.. I guess we will just wait and see. I will keep you guys posted! All my luvs!!! Tiff
