that blood tests are less painful? I may have been lucky lately and gotten good needle stickers. I think it is because there is less fat to dig through, though. What do you think? Aime

Nope lol but then I haven't had them done yet. I will let you know in March *grin*. I never really thought they were that bad before I guess. As long as they did them in the wrists and not the crook of my arm where they always seemed to have to dig for a vein. *huggles* Felicia

I've always been told that I was an "easy stick"...sounds kind of obscene, doesn't it? I have great veins to give blood, real close to the skin and easy to see, although it is probably easier now. Trying to get pregnant with both pregnancies took A LOT of bloodwork. I was in a study to try to get pregnant the second time and had to get blood drawn EVERY MONDAY FOR SIX MONTHS!!! Good thing I am an easy stick. I used to donate blood as often as I could, but now I have kids and work midnight shift, I miss all the blood drives at work and don't find time to get to the bloodbank without them. It doesn't bother me. I have not had my blood drawn since my surgery. They do it 2 weeks before your 6 month checkup, so mine will be at the end of March. Hopefully it is as easy as I remember. Tabby
