My week!
This week has been a bit scarey for me. I had discovered a lump about a week ago and went to have it looked at immediately by my pcp. The lump is in a very private place so I was seriously nervous.
Anyway, my pcp agreed that I do in fact have something there and told me to see a surgeon. Up went my stress level immediately. I saw the surgeon on Thursday. Whew!!! He examined the lump and diagnosed the problem. It seems that the constipation we may experience as a result of this surgery caused me to develop a blood clot filled hemmeroid. Since it has not caused me any pain, he said not to be concerned. My body will reabsorb the blood clot in about 3 weeks. I mae him promise me that I wouldn't need to have anything else done down there. He assured me that it would be ok. I left his office feeling like the weight of that building was off my shoulders. I guess I will need to take that fiber tablet more often.
A fw years ago when I had a reaction to glucophage- the hospital er discovered I have what is called an adenoma. This is a non-specific mass on the adrenal gland. While I was seeing my pcp, he informed me that during my surgery he became concerned about it but didn't want to add to my anxiety at that time. more
Anyway, I left the surgeons office to go straight to have another CTscan. I am still waiting for the results of that test to come back.
I am hoping it was just a fluke and that once again I am told that nothing needs to be done.
I don't know if I should love my doctor or just avoid him at this point in time.
Remember to drink drink drink those fluids and get that fiber in the best way possible.
Smooches,
Aime

Aime, Girl, Girl...you have had a terrible week. It seems this week has been the week for so many. I am glad that you found out that the knot was nothing to serious ,ut my prayers are with you for the adenoma and the results. I found out Thursday that I have fatty tumors in my lower back that are pressing on my sciatic nerve but nothing they can do, which I also have one in my breast. I just have to keep watch on them. Anywho..this ain't about me it is about you and we are here for you so please keep us informed and if you need anything let us know. Take care.
Hugs,

Oh, Aime, what a week. I hope that everything turns out to be OK and nothing at all to worry about. Definately makes me think more about getting in my water and fiber. I take dulcolax every day. Just put it in my pill box with the rest of my pills, so I don't have to think about it, it is just routine.
Please let us know what you find out. Take care.
Hugs,
Tabby
