I know things since surgery and the "month time" have been off. (well mine regular...long story) I had started a few days before surgery then pretty regular since surgery up until this past month. I started on the 9th and on the 28th I started again. What the h@ll gives here? I have never in my life had 2 in 1 month. I have read about this but did not know if any other Oct Babies had this happen to them. I do not like 1 a month let alone 2 in 1 month. I called the OBGYN today and told the nurse and she told me to watch it (have a yearly check up on the 27th of Feb). Just had to vent. Sorry!!! Deanne

Hi Deanne. I haven't had this problem since surgery, but I did have it a few years ago. For about 6 months I was having periods every 2-3 weeks. It was HORRIBLE!!! Turned out it was a hormonal thing. I ended up having to have a D&C, which took care of the problem. Since then, I've been regular. Best thing to do is try not to stress over it until you get to see your GYN. Then, hopefully you'll get some answers. Susan

My period has been out of control since surgery. I had one the week before surgery, then 5 more by Christmas, and 2 since. UGH My wonderful MIL said maybe I was going into perimenopause, again UGH! I know I am getting older but I really wasn't ready to admit that. I will be 38 this year. I am going for a check but here in Canada it takes months to see a specialist. so I think my appointment is in March and I am on a cancellation list. Good luck and keep us up to date, please. Tara

I am having this issue now also. I was told it is a hormonal thing from the surgery. Everything should go back to normal soon. I was just at the obgyn and actually started the pill again to help regulate. I hope things get better for you. Allison

Hugs, Deanne. That really sucks. I have always been very irregular and now I am starting every 29-33 days. Very pleased with that. Wi**** had been like that when I was trying to conceive. I hope that you can find some answers from your OBGYN. Let us know. Hugs, Tabby

I hvae been all over the place since surgery as well. Sometimes it even lasts for 12 days! And very Heavy,..... I went to the DR before Christmas and he said my body is just reacting to the huge changes that are taking place. He put me on a high doseage of BCP to help out but is still all over the place - just not as heavy and long. Good luck - I know it sucks.
