Question of the Day...
I would stop at a gas station on my way to work and would purchase a bag of Dorito's and a can of Frito Lay Jalapeno Cheese Dip. I would take it to work and would crack it open as soon as I got to work. I would eat half of the bag of chips one day and half of the can of dip, then the next night would fini**** I would go to different gas stations that I knew carried it, so the workers wouldn't think "No wonder she is so freakin' fat!!"
Also, occasionally I would stop at the grocery store and purchase a box of Little Debbies Fancy Cakes. They would go to work and hide in my drawer. They didn't last long, either. I usually ate 2 packages of those a night.
Now I work from home and couldn't binge like that. I wish I had worked from home earlier, and wouldn't have gained as much weight. I just started working from home 2 weeks before my surgery.
Hmm..binging..I wouldn't say it was binging but I loved to have a huge t-bone steak, bake potatoe and a salad. Have to have the mushrooms on the steak with tons of worcheshire sauce...my mouth is now watering. If I think about all that food I now get a quessy feeling. Still would like to have a bite though.
Hugs,
Hmmm. can not say it was a binge more than laziness. And there was no hiding it (just form my inner self) I was big on stopping by the drive throughs on the way home from the food store or wherever. Wendys misses me let me tell ya. It was easy and sooooo yummy. Can not think of one thing that was a fav over another. Anything that looked good way fair game. Even asked hubby and he said basically the same thing. I had several "comfort" foods. If it tasted good and was available then I ate it...plain and simple. Was thinking abotu it going through the food store the other day as I rounded a courner and there were the bakers specials. You konw the day old cookies and rolls and breads. Boy would those have ever called my name before. Just hit me this time that I just passed by on the way over to get the eggs and FF hoods milk. I notice it more and more that there is a lot of BAD food around. Every turn you take in the food store there is something that is screaming clogged arteries.
Anywho fair game was my binge I guess you could say.
So glad I am not there anymore! Phew what a relief!

Binges weren't really my big thing. I did have one every now and then, but not often. I was just addicted to snacking - especially late at night. My obsession was salty crunchy things. Chips, dips and Dr. Pepper.
But, my "thing" to do when I went out alone was to go thru the drive thru and get a "snack". Yup, it was a MEAL. Then I'd come home and eat again with the family. I've never told anyone that. Hubby has NO IDEA I did that. Soooo...shhhhhhh...don't tell him!
And, while I was working we were always short on time. I didn't get home and get the kids picked up from after school care until almost 6:00 pm and the two little ones MUST be in bed by 8:00 if we are to have a happy morning, so we went out to eat almost every week night - and at least 1-2 times thru the weekend too - just because we would be out and about.
OH...plus, I ate out lunch every day too.
We spend WAY less on food now that I am home and cooking nutritious (or at least better than restaurant) food every night. Now we eat out maybe 1-2 times per MONTH. What a difference!

Oh wow...
Chick Filet.....12 piece nugget (which never seemed big enough) super sized waffle fry and coke....occasionally I would add on an 8 piece nugget on top of it, or a milkshake.
I drove by chick filet the other day and was SOOOOOOOO tempted. I figured I could get a 4pc. nugget with no fries and no drink. But..I resisted. No fried junk for me!
