Susan,
Thank you for your prayers. I had the mamogram on Friday so hopeing that either today or tomorrow I will know the results. The tech did not say anything so I am hoping that is a good thing. Who knows. I know they are trained to not way anything as we went through this with my brother and all his tests. I will let ya know.
Thanks,
Melissa
I am hoping you get good news Melissa.
From working with doctors over the past three years, I recall that if it was "bad" news they would generally (not always though) call the doctor and have you go right to their office so they could let you know immediately. Usually if it was a "wait till your next appt" then it was good news. Hope that helps calm the nerves a bit.
Let me know when you find out!!!
Susan
SUSAN,
WOW IS RIGHT. WHAT A GREAT ACCOMPLISHMENT. HOW DOES IT FEEL TO BE IN A PAIR OF PANTS W/ A REGULAR WAIST BAND AND NOT THE STRETCHY ELASTIC. I DON'T KNOW IF I'D KNOW HOW TO BUTTON AND ZIP UP A REGULAR PAIR OF PANTS IT'S BEEN SO LONG.
I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU KEPT A PAIR OF PANTS FOR 8 YEARS. ALL OF MINE WENT TO THE THRIFT STORE EVEN THOSE FROM LAST YEAR. BUT HEY, JUST THINK OF THE GREAT THRILL OF HAVING TO GO AND BUY A WHOLE NEW WARDROBE.
KEEP UP THE GREAT JOB.
DONNA, SFY
Sad, but true.....Yes, I kept the pants for that long as I intended to lose weight and be able to wear them.
As for the buttoning and zipping, I had to practice as it had been so long since I've done it too!! I guess it's like riding a bike, you never forget how.
Now, however, I am giving LOTS of clothes to charity and/or selling some at the local consignment store. I will NEVER need those clothes again.
