Dizziness???
Is anyone else getting dizzy when the bend over? I have noticed this past week that when I bend down to pick up the kids toys and stand back up I get dizzy. Today I walked on the treadmill for about 35 minutes and was sweating pretty good. I went up to put the kids down for a nap and had to bend down to pick up clothes off of our sons floor. When I stood up I got so dizzy that I staggered backwards and had to catch myself on the wall. I have been getting lots of fluids, and taking all of my vitamins. I AM eating. Any ideas???? Now I won't be able to call my surgeon until Monday. It hasn't been THAT bad, just today kind of alarmed me.
Let me know what you think. Thanks.

I think I read that you get dizzy when/after losing a larger amount of weight. I get dizzy when I stand up to quickly or in the middle of the night when I need to use the restroom. They said it goes away but it might take up to 6 months but I am not sure, would not hurt to ask your surgeon as I am going to when I call them today with an update.
Let me know and I will let you know. lol

I am with you girls. I was going to post on here today about that specifically. Today I got totally shakey and dizzy majorly. I thought about 4 times today I was going to pass out. I haven't done anything different today but yesterday I didn't eat much at all because of being sick. I would love to find out why but I didn't call my DR so if it continues through out the weekend I will call Monday. I am just wondering if my sugar got low...we have to watch ourselves sisters.
Hug,
Yup but I can almost count on it like clock work if I haven't got enough fluids in... especially water. Not sure if that is what is causing yours but thats what causes mine. Usually I just make a point of sitting down and getting some water in and then I am fine no matter if I am standing or bending over etc...
*hugs*

Tabby,
It is perfectly normal. I will have to ask hubby specifically about it but it has to do with rapid weight loss and your resting heart rate. I have been feeling this way for a while. When hubby had it we learned from the surgeon about it. I am sure if you put resting heart rate into google it will bring it up. I iwll ask him and get back to you more specifically what it is but it is normal.

Tabby,
don't forget, your heart has been use to working overtime for so long carrying aroud all that extra weight we've had on us for so long. So it's going to have to adjust to the weight loss.
Have you taken your blood pressure lately? Alot of times when your blood pressure drops alot of people tend to get dizzy.
Hope you're feeling better soon
