Heeeelloooo (like Ms Doubtfire)...
Hee heee!! I bet all of you said it like that too..
I havent been on for a while and wanted to say hi to all of you. I hope I didnt miss to much. Things are going great and ever since my stall (for 17 days if you didnt know) I have lost from 1 to .5 lbs a day since the 17th. So yep, I weigh 194.. I am so in shock every time I get on the scale.
I am losing a little hair now.. I mean not in handfuls like I heard, but my brush gets pretty full in the mornings. I dont think you can tell yet though. Anyone else see some loss in the hair department? I use to straighten my hair about 3 times a week. I stopped that just in case.. I am not to worried about it.. I rather be bald then fat..
Well, I missed you all!
Luvs and Hugs,
Tiff
WOW congrats on the loss!! Thats wonderful!!!!!!!!!!
I have been having handfuls drop out for over a month now. I have super thick and curly hair though so good luck with anyone noticing lol. My vacuum isn't happy with me though. Its actually nicer now that its thinned out a bit. Never had it so light lol. I think for me though its growing back now almost as fast as its falling out. No way to really stop it till its done *shrug* so guess its something we learn to live with for a while.
Amen to rather be bald then fat. I so agreeeeeeeeeeee.
*hugs*

Hey there Tiff!!
Been missing your smiling face on here!! Glad to see you posting today!! Welcome back!
And, YES, I said heeeeellllooooooo like Mrs. Doubtfire. That's one of our families favorite movies. We love to watch it together and
Congrats on the weight loss!! Sounds like the scales are really moving again for you. I'm so glad!!!! Whatever you did to get it moving again is definitely working!! Way to go!!!
As for the hairloss, I'm starting to have some too. My brush is filling up fast and I end up with way more in the shower than I'm accustomed to....but like you said, I'd rather be bald than morbidly obese!!! So, I'll deal with it as it happens and keep remembering that it WILL grow back. Not to mention, my hair is pretty thick anyway, so it's not a big deal just yet. I'm planning to talk to my stylist about it when I go for my next trim to see what she recommends as far as a style for me so it's not too noticeable if the loss keeps going.
Take care and keep posting!!! I missed you!
Susan
You made it to Onederland!!!! Congrats to you!!! I made it there last weekend.
I am having hair loss. I am not having hunks fall out, but a significant amount every day. I have thin hair to being with so my hair was looking nasty. I went and got it cut again Wednesday night. They cut most of the old perm out of my hair. It still has some ody to it, but that will go fast. I also hav bangs now. I haven't had bangs since I was a little girl. As soon as I can afford it, I am going to get some Nioxin. One person from the conference I attended recommended it and then the hair dresser did also. It is quite expensive, but apparently very good. It is recommended for people who have gone through chemo.
Keep up the good work.
Aime
Yup, me to!!! My hair has been coming out for about 6 weeks now. I always would find hair coming out when I would brush or wash my hair but nothing like it is now. I feel like I am shedding worse than my dogs!!!! lol. I to have kinda thick hair so I don't think it is too noticable yet. I have also noticed that I had some natrual curl in my hair and now it has gotten straighter than a poker! I used to wash my hair everyday but now I am afraid to because it comes out so bad in the shower. I get out to dry off and I have hair balls rolling up all over...lol. I color my hair and need to do it again but afraid it may make it fall out even more. I have a big patch of gray on the left side of my head that is not holding color well at all??? What is that all about? I colored my hair about 2 weeks after surgery and in about a weeks time the gray was back???
Congrats on the weight loss Tiff!
I too have been battling hair loss for some time now. I have been using the Nioxin however, that is only for NEW hair growth! It does nothing for the hair your losing. I have also been taking Biotin twice daily. My hair is thin but curly so at the top of my head you can certainly see ALOT of scalp! I would much rather lose my hair than not lose weight. Heck, I wouldn't be opposed to a wig or hair piece at this point because I know that the hair loss is temporary.

Congrats Tiff on the WL!!
Sorry everyone but it seems that I am the odd person here, no major hair loss thus far...(knocking on wood as we speak ) I am losing some but I lost this amount before surgery so nothing new in that area.
Heck I would take bald over being obese as well...your hair will grow back.
Hugs~~

Hi Tiff!!
Glad to hear from you and see your pretty smiling face!! Congrats on the weight loss! It's nice to see the scale moving, isn't it?!?
I haven't noticed a whole lot of hair loss, but I keep looking for it! I have really thick hair too, so it probably wouldn't hurt to lose a little!!
Take care....keep posting!!

Hey, Tiff!!! Congrats on the great loss (rather LOSSES) since your stall. I hope I see that some time soon. Do you have any new pics up? I can't wait to see them.
I don't think I have lost any hair yet. I but with as short as my hair is, I doubt it would stay in the brush when I bru**** I haven't noticed any in the shower or anything. I take my biotin every day. Hopefully that will help me. Time will tell. Hope the hairloss slows down. But like you say, better bald than fat. We can always buy a hat. Hee Hee.
I've missed you, too.
Hugs,
Tabby
Congrats Tiff on the WL!!! I have to do a little for you!!
As far as loosing hair, I have noticed that I have been loosing a little hair but nothing abnormal. I did color my hair the other day and was praying that I didn't fry it off. Remember everything comes out through the hair. I am feeling some better today so that is a good thing.
Hugs,
