Curious..

Has anyone else been told that they look shorter since they have lost weight? I have heard it now about 5 times. Aime

LOL....my 18 year old son told me I was getting shorter the other day. I didn't believe him. I told him that he was probably just growing again. Maybe I am shrinking in height...does that mean I can cut back on the protein intake??? It does go by height I think.

No thank goodness!! At 5'1 I would hope to not look or get any shorter than that!!! LOL Allison

No, but I have also felt shorter!! Especially when I try my bigger clothes on and they are dragging!

I'm a long way from even looking like I have lost weight lol but I do feel shorter. Was huggin hubby the other day and I thought I was shorter but then again maybe I can just stand "closer" to him now lol so it seems shorter LOLOLOL. Felicia

I do feel shorter too. I was also standing by hubby the other day and felt shorter than I already am when he is around (he is 6' 2 I am 5' 4). Also I have noticed more about my boys. They hit me just around the bottom of my bra (yikes!!) they are 5 and 4. I am going to have giant boys soon that tower over me like Hubby does. lol Deanne

What do you mean "a long way from looking like you have lost weight" Your weight loss is phenominal, keep up the great work. I too though look at myself in the mirror and don't see a difference from pre surgery. Mind games, that is what it is. It is so nice to be able to get nice close hugs now too. But I do think I am shrinking. I know my shoes are getting looser now and before I fit from end to end in the tub and now I have room in there, but I think that is more of losing weight in my butt......I will take it wherever I can get it........Take care.......Gay

Sorry should have been more specific lol I meant more in the way like when I walk down the street strangers would not "look at me" and see I have lost weight.. So looking like I am shorter probably wouldn't be something anyone would notice lolol. I hear you about the mirror though. I still see me at 427 when I look in the mirror. Not sure when the brain catches up but hey at least when I look down at my clothes these days there is no doubt I have lost weight lmaoo that or I am a crappy shopper! LOL OMGOSH I would never get out of the tub if I got in there and actually tried to sit down lmaoo nooooooooooooo to much of a scary sight thought lmaooo *HUGS* Good luck to you!! Felicia

ACK - no!! Don't tell me that's coming! Although, my foot doc did say last week that they'd have to get a booster chair for me next time I came in...hmm... Lisa
