I am always cold too! Although I would take a little chill rather then sweating like a piggy all of the time. Oh how I don't miss that! I would have to say you're officially sick. Drink lots of fluids and get some rest! Hope you feel better soon Allison

SUSAN, I'M SO SORRY YOU'RE FEELING UNDER THE WEATHER. IT DOES SOUND AS IF YOU'RE GETTING SICK. MY TWO OR THREE CENTS? START TAKING TYLENOL, 2 EVERY 4 HOURS. DRINK PLENTY OF FLUIDS (as if we don't already) DRINK HOT TEA, TRY PUTTING IN A DROP OR TWO OF WISKEY AND SOME LEMON. TRY THE JEWISH PENICILLIN, HOME MADE CHICKEN SOUP I'M COLD TODAY BUT NOT FROM BEING SICK. IT'S IN THE 30's HERE TONIGHT AND SUPPOSED TO GO DOWN TO THE 20's, AND THEY CALL THIS THE WARM SOUTH. BE CARFUL BECAUSE THE FLU IS REALLY STARTING TO SHOW UP EVERY WHERE. THE HOSP. I WORK IN IS FULL, MOST OF THE PTS. W/ THE FLU OR COMPLICATIONS FROM THE FLU. SO DON'T FOOL AROUND W/ THIS. HOPE YOU FEEL BETTER SOON. DONNA, SFY

Hi Donna!! Sorry to hear NC is so cold right now. But, you guys are a little more accustomed to it than we are here in South Texas. Now I remember why I love living here...the winters are usually very mild. This year is the exception, however. I have heard the flu is really starting to show up around here too. I'm avoiding people as much as possible right now and taking lots and lots of vitamin C plus washing my hands like a crazy woman. Anything to keep the germs away. Thanks for the feel better wishes. I can use them. Still no fever, thank goodness, the sore throat is gone and my feet have finally warmed up. But, my nose is super stuffy and I still have a headache. I'm hoping to kick this soon. I have a busy weekend planned!! I don't have time to be sick. Susan

Hope you got warmed up Melissa!! Since reading this post, I've done the same thing....taken a hot shower to warm up. It's been the only thing that has worked...plus, the steam helped clear my sinuses so I could breathe! A win-win situation all the way around. Susan

I was going through the change prior to surgery! I never got cold unless I was sick. I saw my gyn this week and told him that I think this surgery finished the change for me. I haven't had a hot flash in 3 months- thankfully. Those night sweats are miserable. I had to get up at 2-3 am to take a shower to cool down. Now, I barely get out of bed to go to the bathroom I get so cold. Hope you arne't getting sick and just experiencing some good ol weight loss freezing. Aime

Hey Aime!! I think the freezing was from the weight loss. It turns out that it's my allergies kicking into high gear - as usual for the this time of year. Now that I'm taking my allergy meds, I'm just fine, till the next morning when I need them again. Which reminds me..... Need to go take them now because I keep sneezing... What did your gyn say? Just curious.... Susan
