Aime, I am also five-foot-nothin' - at the lowest end, the water is up to my chest, just below my neck (and, by the way, I discovered just last month that I do, indeed, still have a neck!). I stay as close to that end as I can and if I can't hear, I keep asking her to repeat it or I do what the others are doing...if I get lost, I just keep moving my legs in a sort of jog...just keep moving...I do what I can and don't worry about what I can't do. I think that's the best way to go. Lisa

Yes! The instructor in my water aerobics class moved me up closer to the shallow end last night. Apparently for optimum resistance when using the barbells and noodles you need to be chest deep and no deeper, I was hanging with my friends I have made, who all must be taller. This was the first night she noticed, so either she just wasn't paying attention before, or I, in fact, have shrunk a bit.
