I did fine with a small amount of popcorn. Hubby daughter and I were at the movies and I just couldn't resist. I had about a handfull and that was all I needed. It did have the butter on it... didn't bother me. But since surgery I love Act II butter popcorm. The cheap stuff..lol, it pops up nice and the kernels are not to bad. I always chew it really well or spit out the tought part if it is a pesky one. But I just don't need too much maybe a 1/2 cup to a cup to satisfy me. And I have only had it once in January... but it was good. Good luck to you!

Hi Michelle I have eaten "lite" popcorn once or twice and have not had a problem. I don't like to eat it because of its low nutritional value. I'd rather snack on a cheese stick. In any case, I have eaten and did fine. Allison

My NUT told me I was allowed at 2 months, but I was scared. I did try Smart Balance, and it was yummy. But I heard that hulless popcorn is even better - less hulls to get stuck - so I ordered a bag and am going to make some on top of the stove when it comes. I just searched 'hulless popcorn' on Google, and did some reading about it - smaller kernel, but softer, and little to no hulls, and they're softer.

You can buy hulless popcorn to make at home! I want some! I have had some popcorn when I went to the movies with my son. I wasn't concerned about the popcorn. It was the hulls of the popcorn that worried me. Enjoy a simple snack once in a while. Aime

Michelle, OK so this is the part that we all hate to admit. I have tried popcorn from the theatre and it is great. Have had no problems. Chewed it very well. I kinda knew I would be ok as hubby is 4 months ahead of me with his surgery and he had tried it earlier and had no problems. Chew chew chew is the word! Enjoy, Melissa

I have tried popcorn on movie night with my son. I bought the 100 calorie snack bags...can't remember the brand. But it was kettle corn flavored. I ate most of the bag. It was YUMMY!!! I didn't have any trouble with it at all. I've only had it a couple of times, but it was so good.

I love popcorn!! I have had the Orville Redenbacker with the butter and hate to say it but it has started to make me nauseated ! So needless to say I will try like heck to stay away from it...maybe. I guess I can try it in about a month to see how it goes. Hugs,
