Another milestone hit and a nice realization

This morning I got on the scale and it said 212!! That is a 70 lb loss since my pre-op appointment. I wanted to be at 210 at my 3 month post-op appointment. If I do good this weekend, I might be able to do that. My appt is on Monday. Got my fingers crossed. The other thing I noticed today is that my feet don't hurt anymore when I get up. They used to ache so badly, and when I woke up in the middle of the night, I would have to stand still for a minute or two to adjust to the pain before I could "limp" to the bathroom. Today I noticed that I don't even notice any pain in my feet. My heels used to hurt really bad. Isn't this surgery wonderful???? I'm loving it. Hope everyone else is losing some of their pains they had prior to surgery. Hugs to everyone!!! Tabby

WOW great WOW moments!!! I will keep my figures crossed for your success on Monday of reaching 210!! Losing lots of the pains I had pre op lol but gaining a few new ones too. Feet and ankles do not hurt me anymore but my inner hips and knees do now. I feel like I am walking like a crippled old woman whose been out riding horses for WAY to many hours at a time, these days. I am assuming that I am standing and sitting differently with the loss so my joints aren't used to the shift lol. *huggles* Felicia

Tabby, Great news on the scale! I am sure you can make it to your goal by Monday keep doing what you are doing. I also had those sharp pains in my heels in the evening or night when getting up going to the bathroom. Since surgery no more pain I am not sure when it was gone but I do not hobble my way to get where I need to be. YEAH!! Keep up the great work and you will see the scale be what you want it to be on Monday. Hugs~~ Deanne

Good job Tabby! Congrats. My 3 month appt. is on Monday as well. I hear you about the pain. I just thought about that this morning as well. Daily knee pain was my constant battle. I don't know when it stopped, all I know is that I can't remember the last time my knees hurt! No longer to I slowly creep out of bed and "waddle" for a few seconds while my body catches up with me. Life is grand!

GREAT JOB TABBY!! You are so close to onderland!! I use to wear flats to work everyday cuz my feet hurt so bad.. I had to go buy new shoes as my flats were falling off me as I walked.. Funny how you lose weight in you feet.. and I bought a size smaller and a 2.5 inch heel!! I was so excited. They didnt hurt me at all.. So yes, I am loving this surgery too!!! Luvs and Hugs! Tiffany
