WOW Moment...

Good morning!! This may not seem like a major WOW moment, but it sure was to me!! Let me explain first -- my son's girlfriend Jennifer is not very complimentary...she is very good about saying nasty things, though. This past summer, she told me all I ever do is sit on my lazy fat butt! (I was totally crushed because I was trying so hard to lose!)....anyway, last night we were helping my grandmother move some of my aunt's things and Jen said, "Holly! You are getting really skinny!!!!". I was MORE than thrilled since she NEVER compliments anyone!! Just had to share!! Holly

Ok and this person is still allowed at your house? LOL you are soooooo more tolerant than I could be lol. As for the wow part though. That is WONDERFUL! You deserve th praise thats for sure!! *huggles* Felicia =)

It's a long story....she wasn't allowed at my house for a while, but we worked things out....and she has been wonderful since I had my surgery! Absolutely wonderful! Better than my sister in law and mother in law, but that's another long nightmare story! LOL.... Holly

Holly, That is a MAJOR WOW moment!!! For an obviously cold-hearted person to give a compliment is a BIG deal!!! Your hard work is paying off. However, I have to agree with Felicia the girlfriend wouldn't be allowed in my house after being so disrespectful!! My son is 10 and I already hate any girl he decides to bring home!!! LOL (just kidding). Keep up the good work! Allison

I certainly hope my kids are not disrespectful to their in-laws....when they get to that age!!

That is nice to get complimented by someone who is usually so critical. My grandmother has always been very critical. I was actually at the point where I didn't care what she thought and her opinion didn't matter, but when she told me how good I was looking it felt good. It is a shame that you son's girlfriend is so critical. Sounds like a biatch. How old is he? Is there a chance of this chick becoming your future daughter-in-law? That would suck. I have such a great relationship with my in-laws, I would never be disrespectful to them. Congrats on the wow moment. Any WOW moment is major!!! Hugs, Tabby
