I went to my 3 month appointment yesterday. Was so concerned that I still havent lost anything in 17 days now . He said I was doing good. I said, losing slow? And he said yes, When everyone gets below 200 they slow down. I just so happened to get below 200 sooner cuz I didnt have as much to lose as everyone else. Seemed like something to say to pacify me . He did say that I was retaining water. He could tell? Told me I needed to up my fluids. I did that today. He said to check my salt intake. Something I never thought of. I do eat alot of salt.. So I stopped that. Maybe that was it? We will see how the rest of the week goes. He told me to keep positive and that I looked spectacular.. And he will see me in 3 months. Thanks guys for being there for me and listening. Luvs and hugs! Tiffany

If what your all saying is true that once you get under 200 the weight loss slows down. Then why have I not lost in 2 weeks????? I weight 334 and have not lost a ounce. I drink 64 oz of liquids and workout daily at Curves. These last 3 day I haven't worked out because I have a bad cold. I can't understand why I'm not losing. The liquid goes straight through me and I'm still the same weight.

I've had a cold since I've got The Gazelle. I'm going to have my husband put it up today after work. Hopefully I don't start choking while I'm using it. I'm on the last stage of my head cold. Boy I hate the tickely throat....

Sounds like a great appointment Tiffany!!! Isn't it wonderful when the docs are happy with us?? I agree with the once you are under 200 it slows down statement though. I swear, I lost weight so fast and easy....until I hit 199. Now it's really slowing down. I'm rethinking my mini goal of 175 by Valentine's Day. It's not going to happen. I'd have to lose 16 pounds by then...and I'm barely losing 2-3 pounds a week. Oh well.....maybe I'll make it 175 by the END of Feb. That might be more realistic... So, don't get discouraged. Think of it this way. If we are losing slower now, that gives our bodies more time to readjust and maybe we won't have as much loose skin that needs to be removed via PS. It's what I'm using to psych myself up each morning when the scale hasn't moved AGAIN or has just barely moved. Susan

Sounds to me that what your doctor told you is true. I know that when I hit 200 my loss is going to slow considerably. It'll pick up again, but probably won't be as fast as it was before. Your fluids and sodium would have a lot to do with you retaining. Maybe once you cut back on sodium and increase your fluids, you will start losing again. I wish you the best and hope the scale starts moving soon for you. Hugs, Tabby
