Am I shrinking??

Friends of mine had come to visit me right before Christmas, and it had been the first time they'd seen me since surgery, and said that I looked like I had gotten shorter. Today, we measured me, and I'm 5'6" - I was always 5'7" - is it possible? Has anyone else shrunk??? This is freaking me out - seems like the wls is taking the 'few' good qualities I did have and flushing them away - like my boobs- they were small to begin with, now they're even smaller! I just want my double chin to be completely gone and the bottom 1/2 of me to show some relief and keep the boobs and my height!

Michelle. Don;t panic. The only thing I can think about is posture. The way that you stand might be different now. Not to be graffic but as we lose our poor tummys hand lower and lower. ..... sigh...... and it makes our posture horrible. Not sure if that is it but it is just a thought. Cheer up. Hugs, Melissa

I don't know if I am shrinking, but my best friend keeps telling me I look shorter as I lose weight. I can't afford to get shorter. I am already 5'. I also want my double chin gone. I think I would feel better about myself if I didn't see that turkey neck just hanging on me. I hate it and still hate a picture to be taken of me. No one better dare take a close up. Oh well.
