also 3 cups of hot tea, 2 glasses of water and 2 glasses of fruit punch (still short - but again, better)
It wasn't a recipie - more of a creation.
Lowest fat sausage you can find
Ground turkey
2 cans pizza sauce (find one w/ the least amount of sugar) - mine was a no name chuckey deep dish style w/ 1gram sugar per serving.
Italian seasonings
Low fat mozzerella cheese
turkey pepperoni
I used low fat ground sausage and ground turkey. I removed the sausage (sweet italian style) from the casing and mixed it with the ground turkey. I added italian seasonings (basil, oregeno and parsely) I browned the meat in an oven save skillet.
Once browned and squished the meat mixture flat into the bottom of the skillet. (reserving out a bit for the boy)
I placed the reserved meat on top of a premade pizza crust (already spread w/ sauce) and added cheese and toppings for the boy.
To the meat mixture in the skilled I added pizza sauce on top, cheese and pepperoni (you cna use any pizza toping you like).
I slipped both into the oven and cooked until warm, bubby, and pizza like.
It comes out like pie wedges, I measure out about 3 oz worth and that is my "pizza" I eat the toppings, cheese and sauce mostly and get enough of the meat for flavor - you don't realize the crust isn't there.
The boy takes the leftovers, cuts a portion and lays it on a Boboli and slides it into the oven for himself.
