is there mail on monday??
anyone know if there is mail on monday? because if there isn't, i'm in trouble with my october babies. i planned to mail my cards on friday, but i am not feeling will agian with a terrible sore throat. and, they aren't going to get out today either, as i am still in bed, and probably staying here most of the day. so, i figured that monday is the fifteenth, which still gets my cards out in the first half of the month... then i thought of martin luther king day. ugh, that might mean no mail... but as i am typing this, i am realizing that january has 31 days, so that means that if i get them out by noon on the 16th, i still have made it by the "first half of the month". regardless, please don't panic (if you have even noticed that you didn't get a card from little ole me yet) they will arrive in a timely fashion before the end of the month!
on a side note, i got breakfast in bed this morning. my son went out to breakfast with his dad before his dad went to work, and my wonderful boy brought me back oatmeal. and mmm, mmm was it delish! i only ate about a third of it, but i love real, long cooked oatmeal and all i ever make at home is instant. they even sent it with warm milk and raisins and brown sugar all in separate little containers. luckily i had a pack of splenda up here so i wasn't tempted to use the brown sugar.
anyway, all of you have a wonderful day. don't forget to cheer on my E~A~G~L~E~S...EAGLES tonight at 8pm est. i will hopefully be out of bed by then to go downstairs and watch with the fam.
