not the kind of wow moment I was looking for (men may not want to read this)
So, today at lunch time was the "big day" - two close co-workers and I took a long lunch and went wedding dress shopping.
I explained to the sales woman the situation and we determined my current size (a 22 woooo hoooo!), and determined it would be best to, once the dress was picked, order 1 size smaller realizing it could need to be altered down at least another full size.
Then she asked "what size bra do you wear". I sort of just stared and said, you know, I'm not sure. I was a 48 c, but I'm not sure now......so she scurried into the back and came back with a 44, good thought...a 44c.
So, I put on all the um, foundations and my one friend comes to do all the hooks in the back of the bra and well....
44 was a great choice ok, but well, my gals, they aint "C"s anymore by any stretch. They just sort of laid in there not even coming close to filling the space. Looking sad and puny.
I mean, it's great to loose weight...fantastic to watch the sizes go down and down....but....did I have to loose so much of it THERE????
(on a side note - my dress has been ordered)
Sounds like a big wow moment but I can not relate to the weight loss in "that" area as I was pretty small to begin (36B) with so losing there when there was not much to start with. I have noticed that I have moved the hooks to the next step down from the end so that is a step I guess.
Congrats on finding a dress!!
Hugs~~

Super congrats on finding the perfect dress and having it be a smaller size now! I got married at 307 lbs and had such a tough time finding a dress! My boobs are quickly fading to nothingness too, they are always the first things to go when I lose weight Thats what implants are for after we get to goal!
Patricia!
First of all, congrats on finding a dress!! Please tell us about it!! Send a link to a pic if you have one. I love looking at wedding dresses.
As for the other, I can so relate. I started this journey with a 44DD and needing a larger bra but refusing to buy one as I knew I was going to have surgery. Now I'm in a 38C/D depending on what I find in the drawer each morning. LOL The C's are a little tight and the Ds are a little loose, so I'm somewhere in there. But, I swear....it's like I heard a comedian say on tv a few nights ago. (paraphrased) "I went from a 44DD to a 38 long!" The sad part is....it's true.
Not sure which lady said it, but I'm so with you on the implants after meeting goal.....or at least having the girls put back up on my chest where they belong. Will have to see what insurance will do when the time comes.

I am glad the girls aren't sagging, just shrinking into my chest and dissapearing. Hopefully the strength training and toning at the gym will "bulk them up" just a teeny bit.
As far as the dress, I'm dissapointed with the picture on the website but here it is:

WOOWoooWoooWWWW Patricia!

you gonna look like one hot *****cat on your wedding day!!!
Titties-wise:
i was a 50+ and could not find a bra to fit prior to WLS.
now i am happy to say, 42E. i think i am a 42F actually ... the tits are popping out above the cup. i have massive breasts. unfortunately it dont get to cold here on the tip of africa, or i could have used my breasts as a scarf LOL
my boss commented the other day how great i was looking, 'you just need to get your boobs sorted out, Zah...' i did not mind his comments ... talking about my boobs distracted him from the fact that i breezed into work an hour late! LOL
have a lovely weekend, everyone
