i made chicken salad today with real mayo, and had it for both lunch and dinner... that added a lot to my calories today. and i didn't exercise either...bummer. tomorrow i may opt for a massage at the gym rather than i workout. i really feel crappy all over.

Confession - my schedule has gotten so busy, I've resorted to using frozen meals. I have found that both Smart Ones and Lean Cuisines makes meals that are low carb (just meat and a veggie - no starchy side dish). They usually have just about the right amount of meat in them, so I eat the meat and a bit or two of the veggies. It works out perfectly.
I pledge to cook some healthy foods this weekend at some point so that I don't need to resort to the sodium laden frozen options as often.
Michelle,
I do fine w/ cucumbers as they are mostly water. I peel off the skin, and, if it is extra firm, remove the seeds as well..however I mostly eat the seeds.
I season them well w/ salt and pepper then use either a light ranch dressing or ..my favorite - seasoned rice vinnegar as a dressing or dip. It's my fav. snack - but I am careful not to do it too often and only if I have had enough protein for the day.
Well, I didn't do so well today - you'd think after my happy dance after the doctors office, I would have had my butt in gear today!
B: Protein shake -25g
L: yogurt - 5g
D: hard boiled egg salad and some ritz chips - 6g
not so good - I'm going to have another protein drink before bed!
smack my hand, I'm a bad girl today
