No loss for 10 days..
Hello October Friends!!
I havent been online for a few days. My son is a computer hog!! But anyways, I hope you guys are all good. I have been so bummed today. No loss for 10 days.. I know it wont last, but how upsetting is it to not lose anything? I havent had a good eating day for a while.. Meat is so hard for me.. On Sunday I had maybe 300 calories and 150 of that was OJ and the rest of it was the milk in my protein drink.
Just feeling gloomy..

Hang in there! There were 2 weeks in December where I only lost 2 pounds for the whole 14 days...I was really discouraged too.
Then I went on vacation for 8 days and lost 9 pounds in those 8 days
And when I came back, EVERYONE noticed how much my body had changed in the time I was gone on vacation....
Weird I know...it seems early to be a 'plateau'...but I guess my body is just adjusting...
I'm sure any day now you will start to see the scale move again!

As you are aware everyone goes through stalls it is normal for the amount of weight we have lost so quickly. I was on a 14 day stall. I increased my water and exercise along with adding some calories you will break the stall you are having. I think the 300 calories that you are eating is way to less but that is coming from a person that gets in a max a day of 500 and they keep telling me to eat more--go figure.
Keep your chin up and you'll break your stall soon!

Hang in there for......"this too shall pass". I seem to be the SLOWEST loser, but I AM losing!
I usually go for a week or two with no loss, then I have a couple of weeks when I lose.
I haven't even had to buy new clothes yet.
Remember that the protein powder itself has calories, so you may be getting a bit more than you think. (Mine are between 110 and 125 when mixed with water. If you mix them with something else, you have to add those calories also.)
If you don't get enough calories, you body goes into "starvation" mode and will hang on to EVERY BIT. Try to get more in. (Never thought you would have to EAT MORE to lose, did ya?)

Thanks guys for all your love and support.. I know i need to eat more to lose. But doing that is so hard some days as we all know. I didnt think about the calories in my protein powder. I am going to check that out.. I bet I have been getting more then I thought. But still.. I want the scale to move.. I know it will, but when?? lol.. You guys always make me feel so much better. So nice to have my girls!!!

Just chiming in here to say the other ladies have really good ideas. Changing things up a bit, exercise, more fluids and keeping track in fitday are all great ways to jump start losing again. And, don't forget measuring your body. Sometimes when you have a stall it is your body adjusting to the weight you've lost and you lose inches during this time.
Good luck with getting things moving again....and remember, you are not alone. We all go thru these phases and feelings. I'm there with you right now myself. Stuck at 194 where I've been for days on end....It's making me lol
