TUES: Did you move to loose?
I was supposed to have my first swimming lesson today, but there was a miscommunication between the instructor and the front desk! He showed up about ten minutes before another appointment, which he did know about, and we talked a few minutes, then he gave me a couple beginner moves - floating, actually. It didn't count as a lesson, but it gave me a place to start from till we do meet for real.
I also did some deep water walking, worked the weight machines, and made it up to five minutes on the exercycle. I'd had to give up the exercycle some years back because it aggravated my sciatica too much. I want to be on a real bike by this May. I'm starting slowly, though, so I don't do myself any damage that will set me back.
Walked a little as well.

I did an hour of aqua fittness. It's a class that is a combo of aerobics and toning done in the water using those silly pool noodles and "bar bells" that use the water resistance.
Boy did you feel it after doing several reps of different types with those dang bar bells.
However, jumping on the "noodle" and riding it like a bike in laps around the pool was a lot of fun. Lots of laughter amongst my classmates. It was still a great workout.
I think I will sign up for twice a week next cycle.
