With my new kitchen gadget. We have a beautiful gigantic outdoor BBQ. Stainless steel with all the bells in whistles. The only thing it didn't come with was the ability to produce outdoor BBQ weather year round lol. I bet I have purchased just about every indoor grill on the market. ALL OF THEM SUCKED! Wouldn't cook thick cuts of meat. Never got hot enough. Over cooked the back half while leaving the front half raw as it never closed correctly. ( Think George Foreman type - WHICH Have had 2 of his and both SUCKED!) SO I thought I would look into a Panini grill... Welp along the journey I met Melissa here on the Oct board ( via the net lol not in person yet ) and she said she got this one ( not from here ) http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0001XASWQ/102-9965134-8723349 (This is where I bought it from) So I thought it has to be good as she wouldn't recommend something that was junk PLUS it gets awesome reviews on Amazon. So I bought one. Got it this morning and I just have one thing to say.. A W E S O M E !!!!!!!!!!! It cooked a 1 inch thick steak in MINUTES! ( And not even on the highest setting!) Beautiful grill marks and perfect all the way around and all the way through. I AM IN LOVE!! Put a couple hot dogs on there. PERFECTLY cooked in minutes!! I can NOT wait to try veggies on this puppy. This weekend I am going to do pancakes on the griddle plates that come with it. CANT WAIT ( and no I don't eat the pancakes lol ). Now I just have to rearrange my counter as this baby is staying out to be USED!!! So I am posting this for you all as a recommendation for buying. If you are in the market for an indoor grill this one ROCKS!!! *huggles* Felicia

I should add that the main negative review on this on Amazon was that when cooking burgers the grease doesn't drain right. I haven't tried them but I would say they are probably right as the plates sit flat. For me this wasn't a reason to not get it as I cook burgers on the outdoor grill as everyone knows they are SUPER messy. *huggles* Felicia

Looks like it might be something that I would be interested in as well. I love the outdoor grill and use it year round but this would be perfect for the days not so perfect to grill outside. Thanks for thinking of us here. Hugs~~ Deanne

Thats how we are... I love the outdoor one ( less mess to clean up all together lol ) but like for the last 3 days the wind has been blowing here up in the 60+ mph range and forget it you just cant do anything out there. Going to grill some messing marinated steaks tonight and will let you know how they go. *huggles* Felicia

I am a kitchen gadget junkie!!! I have the Foreman grill and quite frankly it is stored somewhere because of its inadequacy. I am going to check this panini grill out. Thanks for the posting!

Welcome!! This is the first one I have purchased that actually put REAL grill marks on a piece of steak with out turning it gray first lolol. I am sure its has its good and bad points but I was sold at that moment since if it will grill steak it will easily do chicken and pork which we eat the most of. Could care less if it does hamburgers and cant wait to try veggies on it!! *huggles* Felicia

OK I admit it I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS THING TOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is awsome. I can not say enough abotu it! We got it as a wedding gift and I could not be happier. FYI: If you want it to drain the fat off (mine does not have much trouble with it thoguh) then just put a small dish rag or something under the rear legs and it give it a slight tilt and it will drain even better. LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!!! Hugs, Melissa
