Hi everyone I had a great day today - it was my first 'outting' - met some friends for lunch - was really nervous about not knowing what to eat, etc... we went to a Vegetarian Grille, and boy, was it yummy! And the wow of the day - I tried salad, and my pouch liked it!! I ordered a soup/salad combo - potato and corn chowder - yummo! (chewed the corn really good) and a mixed baby green salad with gorgonzola, pecans and fingerling potatoes. I asked first, and the dressing was sugarfree/lowfat, too! I, ofcourse took 75% home in a doggie bag (had it for dinner tonight!)... just had a few tastes of the soup, and took it light on the salad while there, just wanted to see how it would sit in my belly.... all was well!! Sorry to bore you, but it was exciting for me to go out and be able to dine socially and healthy at the same time! Anyhow, here's today's menu so far; I am 11 weeks out: B: 7oz. Hood Carb Countdown Choc Milk w/scoop AnyWhey - 24g protein S: Light & Fit yogurt w/protein added - 11g L: soup/salad tastings - (couldn't find nutrition facts on FitDay) S: ½ Isopure RTD - 20g D: leftover soup/salad, oh, and tried some edamame - yummo! S: (probably some soy pretzels and cheese) Totals: 55g protein so far Hope you had a protein-rific day!

Wow, that was brave, Michelle - trying something new at a restaurant! When I am trying something for the first time since surgery, I always get it "to go!" Seeing people's lists here, I am realizing that I have become lax about measuring food. I think it happened because I wasn't getting anywhere near the amount I should down and most of it was coming up. Suddenly, more food is going down and staying down...I need to become more diligent about measuring again! Lisa
