Oh, so this is what hunger feels like!
i went to the gym yesterday for the first time in many many years. did a few laps and the aqua classes as well. at midnight i was starving starving hungry. told myself 'head hunger head hunger' the whole time. it didnt work, i hardly slept a wink.
the most embarrassing thing about the gym was that in my younger fat days i could swim from one end of the beach to the other, but i huffed and puffed my way, thinking ... how can 20 metres be so longgggg
i was told i need to have a protein shake, or a meal within 30 minutes of doing gym, to repair and build muscle. i have some protein shake but have not bothered venturing there. i read somewhere someone mixes some protein shake into their yoghurt. maybe i should try it.
just scared though that when a person exercises you need to eat more. so one gets used to eating more. not realising that you dont do gym everyday ... so when you dont go to gym ... oh dear. let me keep quiet, i am stressing over nonsense now!
