Oh, so this is what hunger feels like!
I'm hungry! For real...not just appetite...cravings...emotions running high...nothing like that...I'm hungry!
I haven't eaten well today so far, but will turn that around now...I had to meet with a trainer at the gym at 9 this morning and I don't do well with food early in the morning - never did. I had half a protein bar then. Did a great workout - got on an exercycle for the first time in years, learned new weight machine and free weight reps, did water aerobics...then I did the whirpool and sauna...sigh...yum...But I've had only water all day since this moring...and, man, I am hungry!
I am going to have tilapia in soy ginger sauce and asparagus for dinner...now!

It went well with the trainer! Gosh, they are all so young - but when he told me he used to weigh 400 pounds, I certainly gained respect for him. At first, he took my health history and when he asked about what meds I take, I took a deep breath, ready to rattle off the whole litany...I named two...then realized that that was it! That felt really good!
He showed me so many different things to do...at some point, I was sure that was all, but he kept coming up with more! I get one more free session with him, but have to pay if I want more than that...I don't know if I can afford it, though. If not, I will put aside the money to check in with him, maybe monthly, maybe more once I am working again.

I had my first session w/ a trainer last night too. He set up quite the routine for me w/ strength training as the focus and aerobics combined in. Thats a good idea setting a little bit of money aside so that I can occasionally treat myself to more 1 on 1 sessions as my abililites and fitness level increases. Thanks for the suggestion!
Yum...dinner sounds yummy! I am with Felecia that I am never sure if I am hungry or if it is just my head. I have to try and make a point to eat when I am supposed to. I have a good friend who helps me remember to drink and eat and that makes all the difference in the world. Who knew that we would ever need someone to remind us to eat.
Sounds like you are on a great track with the trainer....that is awesome.
