Good morning! I always do so well with my protein during the day, but I am having a horrible time getting all my liquids in! Any suggestions? Holly Watson

Hi Holly, I have discovered (in the soda aisle) that Tropicana has sugar free punches (non carbonated) - they have Orange Ade, Lemonade, and tropical punch. Alone they are pretty thick and sweet, I mix them 1/2 and 1/2 w/ water and they slide right down. The tropical punch flavor is my favorite. I also drink a lot of hot tea and make sure that at least 2 or 3 of my 8oz glasses of liquid are water "straight up" Also, at night I may have a sugar free popsicle (they are about 4 oz of fluid) if I am running a little short for the day.

Thanks for the suggestions! I guess I never thought of looking in the soda aisle! I'll give it a try!

Just don't confuse the punches for the Tropicana Twister soda - the soda is carbonated, the punches are not. (I've made that mistake, I've also accidently picked up the non sugar free versions of the punch by mistake as well).

I don't like the Twister soda, but have had the punch...not the sugar free kind, but I've seen it in the store. Thanks again for the suggestion!

B:Protetin shake (my own concoction - it had carnation instant breakfast mix (nsa), skim milk, a few bannana chunks and a scoop of CarbAdgantage vanilla powder. 25g S: lite string cheese 9g L: pork and kraut 25g S: soy crisps 5g D: BUSY BUSY DAY - I'd met my protein goal and wasn't hungry - had a lite beef stick while transitioning from the gym to a meeting. Fluids - I ended up w/ about 6 -7 8oz servings...a little short of goal. Today, I am out of skim milk at home - so I couldn't mix up a shake. I am going to have to get creative to get it all in. It's a "dinner on the run" night again too as I am teaching a piano lesson after work, then I have a session w/ my trainer (for an hour) at 7. By the time I get home, it will be too late to even think about eating.
