Daily menu posting?

Hi everyone, it's been a while since I've been on, but I thought I'd check in. I also saw a posting on the NJ board, where they post their daily menu's, daily. I think this is a great idea, for people like us, we're all at the same eating stage, or post-op stage, and would benefit from each other's ideas. I, for one, am just going back to work Monday and I am so stressed out about what to bring for lunch/snack, etc... as mostly, during my time home, yogurt has been my best friend. So if anyone is interested in doing a daily menu posting, that would be great. You will learn, my menu choices stink, and need so much help; I'm just so apprehensive about adding new things to the menu. Although, tonight I tried the Power Crunch peanut butter creme bar, and let me tell you, it is out of this world! So light, not like the typical bars; not offensive to my tummy at all; this is going to be my new best friend.

Hi Michelle, I think it is a great idea for us to post what we ate that day. I wouldnt help much as I eat the same thing every day as well. Well almost every day. I tend to stick with what works. I bring to work Cottage Cheese, String Cheese, an apple or bananna. My water.. and a protein bar. Then I get soup or something in the Caf for lunch. I also get Soup at Hand Cream of Chicken soup. it is so easy and that totally fills me up till i get home. I went back to work after only 3 weeks. you will be ok. I actually found it easier to be at work then to sit at home. Good luck!! Luvs & Hugs! Tiff

michelle, it is so good to see you posting. i went to your profile and i am sorry to hear about your pneumonia. your weight loss sounds great, don't be discouraged. i think that your idea to post our daily menu is awesom. i have been doing it on a food diary. today wouldn't be a good day for me though, i picked up a stomach bug, and so i have been on the "brat" diet... bananas, (ok, so i'm on the bat diet... no rice for me) applesauce and tea. good luck getting back to work. fondly, patricia
