I have never been totally sure if the weight loss from surgery is what everyone tracks or not, but as of this morning I am down 100 pounds since I began this journey with my initial consultation on May 1st. I am so happy and feeling so good I don't know what to do with myself.

THAT IS AMAZING!!!! Congratulations!!! What a huge accomplishment. I say to count if from when you began this journey. That is all weight that you have lost due to the WLS, whether it was weight you had to lose before the surgery, or after...all weight that came off because you were having the surgery and weight that may not have come off if you hadn't had it. I go from my pre-op appointment...that was my highest weight. Look how far you have come in 7 mos. WOW!!! Keep up the good work. Hugs, Tabby

That is fantastic. I think you start from your higbest weight in the journey. Mine was 216. I had surgery on 10-23 and I am now 163. This is such a pleasure. The things I can do now! Good luck Jason keep going and keep losing! Delynn

That is great!!! Keep up the great work. I count from the first visit as well although the office that I go to does from surgery date. I always think I had to lose it sometime. Keep up the nice WL!! Hugs~~ Deanne

GREAT JOB! Keep up the good work! I am keeping track from my initial appt which was April 11, 2006...I weighed in at 280! I had my surgery on October 10 and as of yesterday I weighed in at 202! Am hoping to be at least 190 by the time I go back to my surgeon on the 25th! You should be feeling good!! You are doing wonderful! I am excited and happy for you!!
